This hotel also offers free breakfast every day, which makes it easy for people to grab a fresh meal whenever they please. Other amenities are free private parking, laundry service, and a 24-hour front desk that has staff members who are willing to offer assistance upon request. Moreover, this hotel has a strict no-smoking policy and has extra facilities for disabled guests. Extended Stay America Orange County-Anaheim Convention Center supplies every room with heating and air conditioning so that everyone can feel comfortable during all seasons. It also ensures that every room has a flat-screen TV with premium channels, which makes it easy for people to find and enjoy different programs while they're here. Moreover, all of the rooms have kitchenettes that are fully equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and more. There are telephones, radios, alarm clocks, iron, and iron facilities. This hotel can be an excellent choice for guests who want to visit local popular destinations during their stay. In particular, this hotel is only a couple of miles away from tourist attractions like House of Blues Anaheim, Anaheim Gardenwalk, Disney California Adventure, Disneyland, and Crystal Church. Also, restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, Roy's Restaurant, Fire + Ice, and P.F. Chang's. Lastly, the closest airports are John Wayne Airport and Long Beach Municipal Airport. I regret to say that I will never stay here again. I called and asked if I could check in early. I understood thst there is an early check in fee. I was told it was $12. When I arrived they changed the price to $23. After I checked in and paid the $23 I was told I could’ve waited an hour and it would’ve been free. The check in process was horrible. I was also referred to as “big fella”, which is offensive and not okay. The room was old and dated. I booked a room with two queens and confirmed with the front desk that they are two queens but when I got into my room I was disappointed to find two double beds. We liked that we were close to Disneyland which is why we booked here. When we got to our room, the room smelled bad. The countertops were all cracked and didn’t feel safe. When I went to get a towel the whole towel rack fell off the wall. No toiletries were provided. No cleaning or offer to provide clean towels unless you bring the dirty ones down to the front desk. There was a small kitchenette but no pots pans plates or utensils were provided so the kitchenette was useless. We had asked for a set to use but never received it. Beds were advertised as 2 queen but were way smaller. Beds were super lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedding, refrigerator and just the room smelled in general. We could hear a lot of noise from the room upstairs. Not enough outlets. We had to unplug the already dim lighting in the room to charge our phones. Zero usb. Not enough space to unpack or store our travel clothes. Site said breakfast was provided. I guess nature valley bars could be considered breakfast and Costco mini muffins. Coffee was broken. Our locked car was stolen from the parking lot right below our room. Hotel said they had no cameras on that side of the building, but we were in a corner lot. That means that two sides of the building where you park is completely unmonitored. We had other issues as well. Cleanliness: My husband found granola in our sheets our first night. The front desk only supplied two top sheets. There was food and trash on the floor. We wiped the floor to clean up a spill, and the rag was black. I had to wipe out the dresser drawers with a Clorox wipe due to hair, dirt, etc. Maintenance: Light bulbs were burned out. Hand towel rack was gone with only holes in the wall. Stove wouldn't turn on until we flipped the breaker. We had to run the shower for 5 minutes to get hot water. We never got hot water at the kitchen sink. Staff: Front desk staff was a different person all the time. We never saw the same clerk twice the whole week, even if we visited multiple times a day. One front desk clerk could not speak English. We were not provided with WiFi passwords. Security: We did not feel safe in the hotel. Extended Stay did refund us for the remainder of our stay when checked out early due to our car theft. Our vacation was ruined. However, we had to go through Expedia to apply for the refund. Expedia gave us the run around, but came through in the end. Price was great. We saved $1,000 compared to the property next door, but it wasn't worth it! The only downside I had was the bathroom door jam was crooked & the beds were to firm/hard. They weren't very comfortable at all. But I woke up the morning after my first night with cockroaches crawling out of the fridge. And I can’t ignore that. There were other smaller issues of cleanliness as well such as pubic hairs on the toilet and hair bands on the floor. But the staff was exceptionally friendly and kind, so that was the bright spot. |
