It looks like an OEM part. The color is slightly off but that might well be because my car is almost 7 years old and maybe I notice the slight difference in shade because I fitted it. This is the first time I really worked on changing anything on my car (apart from a flat tire). The entire process from removing to fitting the cover to cleaning up the mess took around 60 minutes. It was easy to put the cover in and my 8 year old helped me to hold one side up while I made sure the other side is fit. I also bought some bumper fastening clips off amazon just in case if the existing one breaks (they are not expensive). Cost - Material Quality - Overall a great buy! Installation wasn't easy, but possible for anyone used to "do it yourself" projects. It does bow out from the body of the car a bit behind the rear wheels, which I think may be due partially to the way it was flattened in shipping. Bottom line, I paid more than the entire price for this bumper just to have the bumper repainted previously so was a good deal for me. Despite my efforts to maintain my car, at 9 years old the car has blemishes so this was a welcome option. I know and can see the small issues with this bumper but most others will never notice. Everyone loves the quality, the paint match just as well as any body shop without blending panels. Good enough for a daily driver in the city, it is a bumper it will get damaged again so it fit the bill. Shipped smartly, no issues with this company or there process. I got a quote for the same quality at $100 more in the local body shop. Silver is hard to match, spray pattern and color matching is alway difficult everywhere for everyone. I would buy it again. Quality and color match to my original vehicle was fantastic. Just by looking - you can't even tell. Of note, did have some difficulties lining up some of the bolts for under the wheelwell - so had to leave one or two off. But for an old car, not that big of a deal. Paint matched great, and one would be hard pressed to notice it's newer than the rest of the car; which says alot, since Fiji Blue Pearl had slight variances due to which plant it was painted at during the 2 years that the color was offered. Re-use the screws, but would recommend getting new ones for the plastic ones used on the bottom of the bumper as the plastic was brittle. |
