We absolutely love coming to this urgent care when our primary doctor is closed. They are very helpful and patient with us when our little girl is sick. They always know how to make her feel better and put us at ease.

Amazing staff that really cares about their patients. Thank you.

Our experience was prompt, friendly and professional. The discharge paperwork was very helpful. We will definitely be returning. By the way, I am a physician and I don’t believe most of the negative reviews. I think some folks must have unrealistic expectations and also are overly critical in general. Any urgent care may end up sending you to the ER because their scope is not the same as an ER and there is good reason they would refer to the ER if they do. Wait times can be long anywhere when they are swamped. Most ER visits are 4-6 hours. There are MANY diagnosis in pediatrics that require just reassurance and no prescription. It’s easy for your private doctor to prescribe antibiotics after the fact to appease the parent when many times that is not the best option and creates antibiotic resistance for your child. In any case, I was annoyed by some of these negative reviews. Remember most people that are motivated to leave a review are the angry ones. You can take the good reviews and probably quadruple them. I was very impressed.

As a parent, getting a COVID test done on my toddler was something I never imagined I would have to get done. Check in was quick and easy. Once we were called to the back the staff made me feel more comfortable with getting my child tested. The test was quick and easy and the results came back in about 15 mins. Although it was not under the best circumstances the overall experience was worth it.

We had a great experience at After hours pediatrics! Everybody was very friendly! I loved the system, that you can “stand in line” online, so you just go there when its your turn. The check in went fast too once we get there. I’m glad to know there is a lot better option than the emergency room:)

What does Pediatric urgent care do?

Pediatric urgent care centers typically have the same services as adult urgent cares. This can include treatments for common injuries, illnesses, and conditions; diagnostic services; and home care and follow up information.

What time are urgent cares least busy?

You can't control when you get sick or injured, but if you can, try to head to urgent care late morning or early afternoon. Wait times are often longer in the early morning and around dinnertime since most people tend to go to urgent care right before or after work or school.

Can I still see a pediatrician at 21?

There is no age limit for seeing a pediatrician Originally defined as age 18, raised to age 21 in the 1960s, the upper age limit for pediatric care was eliminated by the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2017. The rationale: Transition to adult care should be specific to patient needs, not an arbitrary number.
