7 days to die how to turn on flashlight

correct me if i am wrong, if you hold down the key you have bound to flashlight / laser pointer they can be turned on off independently.

This is true. I think 'F' is the default binding and if you hold it down you get a radial menu to turn on/off any of the three light sources you might have - weapon, helmet, goggles. For what it is worth, here is what will turn on/off if you just tap F when you have combinations:

This does not need electric to function. Great tool for to light up areas you wish or Street Lights in real time.

What this does is allow you to Turn ON/OFF any POI lighting in game in real time without using the world editor.

How to Use

Just go up to ANY POI Lighting even POI Lights you place and Press E to Turn ON/OFF
Hold E to Enable Editing of the POI Lighting Source itself.

How to Install

Download and replace the original Assembly-CSharp.dll (be sure to create a backup of original first, just in case.)

Works on SP and MP and works on Dedicated Servers.

Note: If you decide to play on other peoples dedicated server, there is no guarantee you will not be banned. You must have EAC Disabled. Player uses at their own risk. Highly suggest only playing on your own dedicated server, or on SP.

One can also say was this topic needed when not only does it tell you in game but there are already topics on this board covering this.

Maybe... maybe not. My comment does offer a life skill on how to figure out controls on almost any game on ones own.

I knew how to use the flashlight before launching my first world with said life skill.

A light source that can be installed into any head armor. Use your Light Source action "F" to activate.

The player can move a torch from one location to another at any time by picking it up using the E key.

Tip 1: Press right on the D-pad to turn on flashlights. This took me forever to figure out and it makes it so you can have an easy access light source on your miners helmet or on your gun.
