A refund date will be provided when available reddit

I applied Non-Fillers on April 18 and received an email that it got submitted. When I checked the IRS 2 GO application for checking my refunds, they said it might me submitted in 21 days. After 23 days, the status changed to "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." And get my payments stats is still same. "Payments Status Not Available." During these 23 days, my school started to provided the Care Acts Grant. My school is slower than other schools in my state, but because I was receiving Financial Aid I got around $700 from the school which was also known as "Emergency Financial Aid." Around these days, I saw people were getting their payments, so I checked my status also. Well, what was I expected? Still SAME LAMO. So, I checked the IRS2GO app, and my status finally changed to this. "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." For now, I just hope to get my refund or my stimulus check.

So, I see what I think is my refund in my transcript, where they have subtracted what I owed from a previous year, added the credit for the additional stimulus, and it references more activity that is stated to happen on 3/08/2021, like... "570 additional account action pending", and "971 notice issued" Filed with TT, accepted 2/12 and also lost the bars yesterday.

Any idea if that means the refund will be issued 3/08 ?

I saw a lot of misinformation out there about this tax refund status. Most of the posts out there make you think this is a negative status.

From my understanding and now seeing it for myself, this essentially means your return is being given a closer look and verified due to a credit of some sort being claimed. I’m my case an EV credit.

Here is my timeline and situation.

Filed 2/21/20 Accepted 2/21/20 Status change 3/2/20: Status Bars disappeared and status changed to: "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Status change 3/7/20: Refund will be sent 3/11/20

Don’t sweat it unless it’s been 21+ days from acceptance.

I wanted to make sure that this means anything at all and found the answer and many more. For anybody that has a changed message we will most likely see our refund date soon. Fingers crossed and good luck to all of us!
