I am planning a trip toTable Rock Lake for my family for later this summer and it's such a huge lake with so many towns I'm not sure where to start. We do want to be close to Branson, but is there a desirable part of the lake to be? I looked at some condos (Emerald Pointe) in Hollister, but I'm not sure thats a good location for boating. We go to Lake of the Ozarks a lot and there are certain mile markers you want to be, but is this the case at Table Rock? Any suggestions on condos/resorts on the lake would be great. Thanks!

Many of the resorts on Indian Point road might be what you're looking for. //indianpoint.org/vp/vacation_planner.html
There are two that I have really liked..Stillwater Resort and Treehouse Condos. Hunter's Friend is one of the most recommended on the //www.1branson.com website but I have never stayed there.

Depending upon your budget you may want to check out Big Cedar Resort. It is on the south portion of the lakenearBranson. It is a full destination resort with everything you could ask for. It is a little pricey, but, it is terrific.

A lot of people stay between Kimberling City to the west and then just south of Hollister (Big Cedar area). From those points, the city of Branson is only 15 minutes or so away. Indian Point is a good location, too, as it is near Branson and next to Silver Dollar City.
Depending on the size of your family, you may be interested in a house versus a condo. Our place is a few minutes south a Hollister and sleeps up to 14 with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. //www.vacationhomeinbranson.com I have the last half of August still available.

Canyon Retreat is correct, for easiest access toBranson those are the areas you would want to look at staying. The lake traffice is about the same from Indian Point to the Hwy 86 Bridge which is just south of her house and the condos at Emerald Pointe. Any of the suggested locations would be good for what you are wanting to do on your vacation. Good luck and have a great time!

Still Waters Resort is a nice place to stay onTable Rock Lake. They also have a lot of activities (land & water) that are FREE to guests and they also have docks and easy access to the lake.
If you'd like to reserve rooms or read a review of Still Waters follow this link that is on ReserveBranson.com:
