The Physical Therapy Board of California's (PTBC) regulates continuing competency standards for the physical therapy profession in California. Every California licensed PT and PTA must earn 30 contact hours or 3.0 CEUs during their license renewal period.
How many CEUs do Lmfts need in California?Licensees must complete 36 hours of continuing education within the two years prior to each license renewal date, including 6 hours of Law and Ethics.
How many continuing education units CEUs are required for CPR in a renewal period?If it is your first time renewing, and you are renewing before your license expires, you are only required to fulfill 15 hours or 1.5 CEUs. If you are past your expiration date, then you need the full 30 hours.
