Can am commander led headlights

The headlights on my 2021 XT model aren't very impressive. It also bothers me that the factory headlight bulbs are a yellowish light, and the marker lighta directly under them are a whiter light. I'm looking for plug and play LED H11 headlight bulbs that are the whiter light 6500ish kelvin.

Anyone had good luck with a certain brand? Any certain brand to stay away from? I'm considering these.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can’t help with your question, but am interested in how your project turns out. I too am not happy about the headlights. My fault for not reading the specs more carefully, but I thought they were all LED when buying it.

You could get the LED upgrade package from the XTP from can am. Not cheap but they are awesome. No complaints about my XTP’s headlights.

Human eyes can see some things better with amber colored light even though it doesn’t seem as bright. After all it’s the color we were created or evolved to see in. The white light tends to cast shadows.

I was going to put led headlights on my commander but my a pillar lights and/or my light bar combined with the amber colored headlights on my OG commander actually provide better clarity than full white leds. I had full leds on my rhino (headlights, bumper and a pillar pods) and it was bright as hell but there are some things that are harder to see with that configuration.

OTOH the two different colors of light aren’t as pretty if you look at it with all the lights on at night. I decided I cared less about pretty than I did about function. Butyou can still see great with led white light. It’s just a bit irritating to me.

White light sucks in dust fog snow and rain . On the commander I never switched from the halogen bulbs but I did have a 42" light bar . On my quad I have led high beams but still use halogen lows for the nasty days and nights .

Maybe I will look more into adding pod lights to the tabs on the front bumper and leave the headlight bulbs alone. Any recommendations on a pair of pod lights that would be good for the front bumper tabs on a 2021 Commander XT? Looking for something that includes everything needed. Lights, wiring, switch, etc.

Baja design is probably the best mid range in price on their lights.
