Antonius Stradivarius Faciebat Cremona 1713, Copy Of, Made In W. Germany Vintage violin made in West Germany measuring approximately 24"H x 8 1/4"W. Violin has some nicks, chips and scratches. There are no evident cracks except for at the bottom, but that may just be a seam. Case is worn, but still latches. Inside the violin, there is a label that reads: "Copy of, Antonius Stradivarius, Faciebat Cremona 1713, Made In Western Germany". The extras in the last image are as follows: 1. Bow marked "XVIII", in good shape with general wear from use and some chipped white inlay underneath. 2. Black Diamond String envelope, empty. 3. Tail piece, cracked, but not at one of the holes. 4. Roth Waller No. 4 chin rest, broken off corner at one of the holes. Has an old label from Gentner's underneath. 5. Aubert A. Mirecourt bridge, in good shape. 6. Assorted metal parts, tuners. F-holes have no cracks. Fingerboard and neck have general wear but no cracks. Maker and age are unknown. We are not experts on violins by a long shot and can only describe the condition of this instrument to the best of our uneducated observations. Please refer to the images to judge the condition of the piece and bid at your own discretion. Overall, this item appears to be in good condition. Nazrin is a good seller. The shipment was sent from Malaysia to Singapore. 1. It was difficult to send money, most of the banks in SG ask for private information. 2. POS Malaysia didn't update the status for 20 hours. The shipment left MY and reached SG after 1 week instead of 1 day. Both POS MY and Singpost didn't provide any information for 1 week. Thanks to Nazrin for continuous help.

As is every “Strad” wannabee marked as Austria, Czechoslovakia, Japan, Korea, etc. Restored to good, playable condition, this violin may be worth from $100 to $300.
Is a copy of a Stradivarius worth anything?Anywhere from $50 to $50,000 depending on its maker. The vast majority of violins are copies of some Stradivarius or another; most aren't marked as such. (In fact, I suspect many violin makers don't realize that the shapes they're using were created by careful measurement of a Stradivarius.)
How much is a 1713 Stradivarius violin worth?The instrument was owned by Lloyd's of London, which had compensated Huberman $30,000 for his loss. Fifty years later, the violin was valued at $1.1 million. Hall turned the Strad over to Lloyd's in 1988.
How do I identify a Stradivarius copy?The Label – To really know if it's an original one you can always identify it in the instrument's label. Stradivari's violins always had a label that read “Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno”, followed by the year they were made.
