No-one is safe from the meme treatment – even if they could throttle you with one punch.

Boxer Deontay Wilder has gone viral after his press conference rant was turned into a hilarious meme. The meme started from a clip taken from when the WBC heavyweight champ was interviewed ahead of his fight with British boxer Tyson Fury.

Now, before Deontay and Tyson got in the ring they had beef. The duo almost came to blows during their stare down back in November, when he mentioned Tyson's traveller heritage. "This man talks about history, that he comes from a fighting tribe of 200 years – but we have been doing it for 400 years," he said.

"I cannot even watch the news – do we deserve it? What have we done to people? People always want to make you explain things because they do not understand. They do not come from the same culture or world, they do not feel the same heartache and pain. People see it every day but are blind to it. It’s still going on today and people say, 'Why are they so mad?' If it happened to you or your culture then you would understand but people stick to their own naive way."

Well, following the fight a Black reporter referred back to that moment, asking: "You said your people have been fighting for 400 years, what did you mean by that?"

Deontay clearly felt like he was being baited and clapped back at the reporter in a spectacular way. "It's your people too, you know what I'm talking about," he ranted. "Don't sit up here and bait. You know what the fuck I'm talking about when I say these things. Your people too! I don't got to explain what's understood. You know what I mean by that. You know what I said by that I don't have to go further and if anyone doesn't understand then God be with them. Go look up the history. Don't everybody believe in Google? Go Google that shit."

He added: "How dare you man. You know what I'm talking about. You know we've been fighting and we're still fighting to this day. To this day! To this day! To this day! Man I'm out of here bro." People took his passionate rant and spun it into a surprisingly relatable meme – and some of them are just straight up hysterical.

They took the Cardi/Offset divorce news and ran with it.

On Sundays like...

It can even relate to football banter.

Always and forever.

WBC heavyweight champion of the world Deontay Wilder goes back to work next week on February 22nd when he takes on the UK’s Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated rematch.

Wilder is known to be a passionate man but a very deep and spiritual chap outside the ring.

So much so the Pope recently named him boxing’s ambassador of peace.

Perhaps one of the most famous boxing interviews of our time involved a clip featuring him in recent years where a reporter, popular and respected Radio Rahim, asked Wilder the following which prompted the viral meme ‘Till this day’ to ensue on the web thereafter:

This week Radio Rahim has been on the world renowned Joe Rogan podcast in a highly entertaining episode featuring one of the most energetic and genuine good guys in boxing media.

He explains where the above stems from:
