Control playback using the Netflix app. You can pause and seek using your Netflix app. You don't have to keep Netflix open on your smartphone or tablet to keep playing the movie or TV show on your TV. Playback controls will also be available in your Notification Panel. Once your Chromecast is all set up, you won't have to go through all of these steps every time you want to watch. Connect an HDMI cable from your computer to your TV. If your computer has an HDMI out port, connect one end of an HDMI cable to it, and the other to an available HDMI in port on your TV. Make note of which HDMI in port you connect to.
