So, I'm not the greatest language learner, but English is my native language. Based off of my experience and the experience of others I've talked to, I'll try to answer your question.

First off, I've heard from some that German is one of the easiest to learn and from many others that it is really hard. I find German to be one of the easier languages to learn. From my understanding, it is so hard because of its grammar. Its vocabulary was pretty simple to me. It doesn't get much easier than "Mann" for "Man."

I don't think French is that easy, but English has a lot of loan words from French, so this makes it easy for some to learn.

Spanish is fairly simple in my opinion and is probably one of the easiest to learn from the romance languages for an English speaker.

Esperanto is quite simple. I've recently started to learn it and so far it has been quite easy.

I know that many may disagree, but for me, Modern Hebrew has also been relatively easy. Some aspects of it are hard, but a lot of the language has been influenced by European languages, so some parts are quite familiar.

If you have been exposed to any other languages, then this list will change. I don't know much, but I was educated in Spanish when I was younger, which has helped me in regards to learning foreign languages (In particular, getting used to pronouncing the vowels differently than they are written in English).

Easy languages to learn for english speakers reddit

There has to be the easiest language to learn regardless of the language you based it on. Most of the easiest language metrics often use English Speakers as the reference point. So, I would like to know what is the easiest language to learn for someone who has had no base in any language. Although I would like to exclude Esperanto since it was deliberate a man-made language. Like there has to be a language that is easy due to their simple grammar, pronunciation, syntax and etc.
