Elf on the Shelf Gone Fishing. Our elf wanted to do a little fishing in our fish tank! All you need for this is a small stick or dowel rod and a piece of yarn. This was a big hit with our kids. Many people wonder what the Elf on the Shelf does every year for Santa. Well, the fact is I determine who is naughty and nice! I then report this information back to Santa each night while the kids are sleeping. I figure if I cause the trouble while everyone is sleeping your kids will be good during the day. Just let them know the trouble is for me this holiday season because I am watching and reporting back to Santa. Our Elf has decided to go fishing! All you need for this is a "fishing pole" and line. A straw or dowel rod and yarn work well.  I have many friends that are still looking for a home.
