This class is designed for any person who wants to obtain a certification in CPR. It will be interactive with a proctor and manikins while following along with a video.

This class is designed for any person in the healthcare industry: MD, Nursing Students/Nurses, Dental Asst., EMS Professional, etc. It will be interactive with a proctor and manikins while following along with a video.

Heartsaver First Aid and CPR Class
This class is designed for any person who wants to obtain a certification in CPR and basic First Aid. It is the same as Heartsaver AED except with an additional video and practice in First Aid skills. This class is interactive with a proctor and manikins along with a video.

Skills Check

This option is for those people who have completed their training at the American Heart Association (AHA) website. People who choose this option will receive no instruction, but will be tested over their skills for re-certification. These online courses are very convenient and can be found on AHA Online Courses.

Class Size

Please note that there is a minimum of five and a maximum of nine students per class. If classes do not meet the minimum student requirement the class will be canceled.

Most classes are "worked through," meaning we snack through class to minimize breaks for shorter total class time.

Please Note: All start times for classes are prompt, however end times can change with additional questions / practice time as needed.

Can you learn first aid for free?

All of our online first aid, CPR & AED courses are free and open to anyone who has registered an account with us. Each course contains first aid quizzes and videos to build upon your first aid knowledge.

How long does a 1 day first aid course last?

'Emergency First Aid at Work' course has one session of 6 or 7 hours. It is a One-day course with theoretical and practical elements. EFAW training certificates are valid for three years. This training provides you with basic life-saving first aid skills.

How long does it take to be first aid trained?

These courses generally take about one day, usually around 6 or 7 hours of tuition with both theoretical and practical elements. Following such a course, a first aider will be trained to deal with the major emergency situations, such as giving CPR, and dealing with people who are choking or bleeding severely.

What level is a 3 day first aid course?

First aid at Work was identified as being a level 3 qualification. This is a 3 day course and looks at the content of an emergency first aid at work course, but includes a host of additional injuries and illnesses making it suitable for higher hazard environments.
