Please try again later.Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2019 This book references in detail (and at length) many research studies about EHR's, their functionality and structure, and the laws that govern Health IT. However, since technology and laws change so much, this book seems to be filled with miscellaneous information that isn't really needed. A lot of the information speaks in generalities versus what is actually useful or possible. Almost every paragraph has a reference to some study done in the early 2000's or before. This text was required for a Health IT course that I had to take for a degree. If you find yourself in the same situation, you may have to read the sections multiple times to understand what they're trying to get across. Good luck! Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2018 I am really enjoying this book, especially the 'check your understanding' in the chapters. These are very helpful. A big Thank You to the author. Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2021 Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2019 Terrible book in which the author seems to never get to the point. Whatever it has in informational substance is lost in the delivery. I find myself re-reading to try to figure out the main points. And in trying the review questions at the end of each chapter, you'll be hard-pressed to find an answer in the reading which correlates with the choices given. I wish an answer key were included. At least then I would know whether I understood what I thought I MAY have understood. Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2020
