A word to the wise- this place has supposedly 3000 rooms. Some nice like the pictures, many in areas a far walk away that are dark like a stripped down cheap motel at super high prices. Very few are the cascades or garden conservatory rooms of the original hotel you will see advertised. I reserved an expensive Parlor room through a travel agent that showed an atrium view of the plants and beautiful lobby but was put in the Delta Wing on the ground floor in a dark room, street view. Just horrible. This is fespite several (3) attempts requesting a room with atrium view. So double check your bookings people. Do not expect the rooms with pictures unless Marriott has it guaranteed which they did not in my case. Marriott says the third party site is to blame. Could be. A few light bulbs were nonfunctional too so it was dimmer in the room. I had to keep first curtains pulled since cars and kids were constantly passing making the dark brown room look more like a dark hole. The extra space was no consolation. So the place is noisy and busy with pools water parks, music, endless additions from the original hotel. I’m adding a map to help. Cascades and Garden Conservatory and maybe some of the delta island areas are picturesque but many rooms appear to have ugly to no rooms unless I truly got the absolute worst wing and room in the house despite booking about a year in advance. Fortunately after a serious talk with manager we were switched to a smaller room in the cascades area with a view- although not the large parlor room I am satisfied but felt the need to warn others of this weird marketing and array of rooms that go from great to rooms that I would not stay in even if free (the first external parlor room ground floor delta wing).

Beautiful resort. Wonderful staff and amazing Christmas activities. Our one conplaint is the cost. With the expense of the room they need to be more cost effective in other areas to help families out especially during these times. 45 per day for parking is extreme and the food prices were priced 45 percent higher then most other food in the area. Other then that amazing time with my wife.

We spent one night in late May and stayed in room 124, which is facing to the back; we got there early and it was nice to check about an hour and a half early. The room was nice (a bit on the small side), very clean and practical; the bathroom VERY small; we had hardly any room to leave anything by the sink. The water pressure in the sink was great, the toilet flush extremely loud, so was the AC. We had a good amount of outlets, Wi-Fi was good, the lobby was very nice and the parking lot well lit, yet on the small side. We heard constant slamming of the doors... Except for the young man working the morning of our departure, everyone was very nice. Breakfast was not well tended to; I had to go to the front desk to ask to have plates restocked; the eggs had run out...another trip to the front desk; there was only powdered coffee creamer (which is not a personal preference), but there were waffles and sausage patties. The pool was not open yet, as they were still working on getting the outside ready. Location is great; within walking distance to restaurants and The Grand Ole Opry Hotel. Yes, we would stay again.

They hotel was such a great stay!!! The air didn’t properly work in the first room we was assigned and the woman at the desk didn’t hesitate to fixing the problem and was moved immediately!! I would say the only down fall to the hotel is the pool, it only goes to 3 feet. The entire pool is 3 feet deep which is a huge bummer. But the kids loved the hotel and the room was very spacious for us to fit in there comfortably!

This week, my daughter and I traveled to Tennessee for her college campus tour in Knoxville. We were trying to get back to California and unfortunately we were caught in the back-to-back storms that hit the southern states, including much of Tennessee. We arrived in Nashville very shaken by the storm and saddened that our flight scheduled for the following day was cancelled. Upon our arrival at The Element, we were greeted by Tonya, the general manager. That's when everything changed for the better!!!! Never, ever have I felt so welcomed in a hotel before. Tonya took AMAZING care of my daughter and I while we were stuck in Nashville. With no vehicle, no access to the restaurants (most of which were closed due to the storm), and all food delivery services out of commission,Tonya invited us to a Chinese dinner the first night. The following evening she arranged for food to be picked up and delivered to us at the hotel. She went above and beyond any customer service I have ever received. She even offered to cook dinner for us if we had to stay an additional evening. We were fortunate enough to fly out on that third day and she even checked up on us to make sure we arrived to our destination safely by text messaging us. Tonya is the epitome of southern hospitality!!!!

Didn't arrive to Nashville until after 10pm. My sweet cousin booked us a room for the 1 night stay at a much more pricey hotel. I had to ask if that hotel if that price was for a few nights, nope just the one. We said no thank you. Found this place within mins a much more reasonable price. Besides being next to the highway it was quite and peaceful. We were nervous about someone(s) breaking into cars (just being in that area). But we saw a staff member walking through the parking lot checking everything out. Our room the only complaint I have is having huge pieces of furniture in a small room. I hit my knee a couple of times on the large table next to the bed and window. In the corner under the table next to the ac could have been cleaned a little better. It would be nice to have a toilet seat lid since it sits so close to the tub, that's gross. There is a daily charge to park here which isn'ttoo bad compared to other places. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I arrived around 1pm, well before the 3pm check in time. I went to the front desk to see if we could check in early. I was told that our room wasn't ready yet, to check back closer to 3pm. Fair enough, we were early so we decided to grab lunch and walk downtown. We returned at 3:45 pm and tried to check in but I was told house keeping was still preparing the room and it wasn't ready yet. My family and I unloaded our luggage and waited in the lobby. Not more than 15 minutes later, we were told we were able to check in, that our room was ready. We entered our room to find chips, and crumbs, all over the floor. One of the beds was disheveled, and the kitchen floor had small water puddles. Needless to say, I returned to the lobby to enquire about our room and house keeping, and we were provided with another room. Our new room did not have crumbs on the floor and the bed did not look slept in, so we stayed. Well, later that evening I found stains on the bed sheet, and a bath tub shower that sounded like it was about to fall through the floor every time I showered. but at that point it was easier to stay at the hotel than to move my family to a different location. Staff was friendly and the outdoor pool was great, except, I'd bring your own towel as they would often run out of clean pool towels. The location was nice being close to Vanderbilt, within walking distance to many restaurants. I would not stay here again, and would recommend looking elsewhere.

This hotel is nothing but simple in the best way! Everything here was seamless. Sometimes in larger hotels you get caught up with waiting in lines and with the prestige that comes with a hotel like that. But he Street was a breeze! Greyson Was the valley that helped us and he gave tremendous recommendations on what to do that’s was off the beaten path. It’s hotels like these that sometimes get overlooked, but when they have the right people working with them a lot of times they are better in every way!!

I love the red brick construction of this beautiful Courtyard by Marriott hotel. One of the nicer ones without a doubt. Pleased with how clean and well thought out the lobby and bistro lounge were. Starbucks always a huge plus. Good selection of food and drinks. The staff was always helpful and accommodating, especially the Asst. GM, Brian. We had a small mixup during check in and Brian jumped right in to make us feel welcomed and went above and beyond for our family. Will DEFINITELY be back. The location is amazing. Quiet, but walking distance to Green Hills Mall (wow this place), Kroeger and Bud’s Liquor.

Trip was okay. We were given the wrong room initially and the lady acted as if she didn’t want to switch us rooms. She also told us that when we book through a third party we are not guaranteed a room type. This place definitely rubbed me the wrong way and I will not be re-booking

Not really a place to go if you want your wife to be comfortable. We gave it a shot because it had reasonable rates, breakfast, and was near enough to the airport, but I would not stay there again. My biggest gripe is the bathroom. It was very very old and smelly. The toilet smelled bad, like foul body odor emanating from the lower tile area maybe. The shower looked nasty and had a rubber mat thing that they tried to spruce it up with ten years ago. Stepping onto it was cringe worthy. Slimy sticky yuck. And then after the shower the bottom of my feet burned and still do as I write this. My wife had flip flops and her experience was worse. The shower head sprayed hard from the center and she adjusted it and the spray pattern changed, but she said it smelled like feces. Maybe it was the water I said to console her but who knows. Very bad disgusting shower all around. The beds were ok. Breakfast ok, area ok, staff ok, but the shower was so bad that I will never stay at this place again.

So it was super convenient, the valet was easy and the check in process super smooth. The rooms are nothing to write home about. The bathrooms are what really need to be updated. Old style tub shower. The sinks are on the carpet outside the bathroom. You could easily relay out that set up and have two sinks all on tile inside the bathroom and go to a more of a modern glass shower. For the price you pay you'd like that.

This hotel is in a great location, it was under going construction and updates at the time. This was a hotel that I didn't get that welcome and thanks for being here feeling, which is odd for Hilton in my experiences. I used the App to check in but needed to get actual room keys for my dad. When I did that the staff seemed much more interested in their coworkers than they did in their guest. The construction seemed to cause a lot of confusion and made things very unorganized. The room was another issue, it smelled musty and there were black spots on the curtains. because I was only there 1 night i didn't want to bother with the desk again. the design in the hallways is terrible. They are dark and gloomy. I think I will look for a different hotel the next time I am in Nashville.

from start to finish this stay was AMAZING!!! from the staff to cleanliness of the hotel was always on point and without a skip of a beat! front desk always welcomed us even when handling other desk they always wanted to let us know if we needed anything they were there for us. love the layout of the rooms very spacious and updated. whats the real gem here is the rooftop pool and surprise they have a small indoor pool thats open 24 hours. rooftop is from 10-6 only thing wish it was open a little later for sunset but im sure its a liability issue. but the bartender up there we call him jack sparrow but he was AMAZING very down to earth and always kept my drinks filled and everyone around him smiling!!! he gave us great recommendations for food and everything we had was amazing. another staff member that was great was apoorv, he went above and beyond for us and we actually had an incident with someone in our party who took everything out of the mini fridge without reading the notice and i was worried about it and his only concern was how my stay was and let us know he took care of the charges since nothing was taken but he was most concerned with how our stay was. I was really blown away at this property and will only stay here going to nashville. thank you so much everyone at the westin!!!!

The hotel is in a good location in DOWNTOWN, very close to Vanderbilt University. The room has a small microwave oven. The booked room does not include breakfast, but there are plenty of options to eat nearby. This is the best holiday inn in the United States. I used to live in another state. This time I completely changed my impression of the Holiday Inn. The bed is very soft and comfortable, suitable for me who doesn't like hard beds.

I'm here for a conference, and the hotel is refurbished. [Except bring your device chargers. They don't have those desk ones near the beds and it's inconvenient]. NOISE: it's 11PM and there is construction noise outside. On the weekends, you can hear all the noise from Broadway until 3AM. Don't get a room on the ”city side,” even though it may sound nice. Get a quieter room away from Broadway. Trust me. The gym is one of the better ones I've experienced in a hotel. The Little Fib bar is excellent: great staff, good drinks, and good food. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. It's near the Assembly Food Hall, which is excellent. The noise is distracting so again, heed my warning. Valet staff is nice, and quick to turn around the car.

I've stayed at several Marriott Hotel properties in downtown Nashville. There is a lot to like about this property. it is in a good location. The property has three Marriott hotels on site (Residence Inn, Springhill Suites, and the AC Hotel). The big negative about the hotel is the lack of on-site self parking. I don't recall seeing that caveat when I booked the hotel. There are some garages nearby, but they are not super convenient. The valet parking is $48 for a night. That is pretty high, even by Nashville standards. On the plus side, the rooftop bar is a nice feature. The breakfast area is nicer than the standard Residence Inn. The best aspect of the room was the bed and pillows. In general, Marriott beds are on the hard side. This bed had a pillowtop mattress and it was very comfortable. The pillows were also quite nice. I would stay here again, but I would scope out off-site parking beforehand.

Asked great questions about our trip and gave us lots of options for dining options close to the hotel and even some in Memphis our next destination. We shared it was our anniversary as Michael as if we were celebrating something. Later when we returned to our room their was a care package of souvenirs, champagne and a hand written note of congratulations! The room was large with a full size fridge and comfy bed. The location is perfect, within a couple of blocks of Broadway. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Nashville. Thanks to all of the staff!

We have stayed at this hotel several times. I really had planned to rate 5 circles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping does a good job. The beds are comfortable. The room is comfortable. The only thing I have to really say of how disappointed I am, is that they have since decided to charge a $100 deposit if you use cashapp, Venmo, Chime (which I have a monthly direct deposit going to each month), etc. I don't know who could afford $100 each time they stay if they are like me who goes night by night. Not to mention when they've never had an issue out of me. I actually take my own trash out, make sure to give housekeeping my towels when I get new ones, etc. I have had bad experiences with hotels who want to charge a deposit on my bank card and I don't want the headache of having to dispute charges that were never replaced by hotels. I work with delivery services so I use my cashapp (mostly), PayPal, and chime to make deposits onto those cards as it allows me to get my payments faster. Nonetheless, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind, but I would not recommend it to someone like me who does mind. There's nothing really bad to say about the hotel itself, but it really stinks for good customers when they also will not allow a cash deposit and then give your cash back upon checkout. Just wanted to write a review so those of you who are booking third party, on the red roof website, etc have a heads up of the $100 deposit now being charged.

Very clean, great location! Ms. Robin in housekeeping was a joy to meet! The pool area and the lobby area were my favorite places to relax! We will stay here again when we come back to Nashville. They do charge a $300 hold when you check in for Any damages that may happen. I wish I had known this beforehand. It was immediately refunded within hours after checkout though. Also, housekeeping doesn’t come in and make beds, refill towels, etc. daily so I didn’t like that part but if we needed anything they were very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed.

I thoroughly and completely enjoyed my stay at the TownPlace Suites Nashville Downtown/Capital District Hotel. Quiet - comfortable and designed in a way that made me feel like I had booked a spotlessly clean and perfectly well kept air b n b without the fear of finding a baby toy under the bed to remind you that this is really someone's home. Secured from public access with a great breakfast and a coffee bar - they also have a really cool club at the rooftop so no need to really even leave the building. I even had instacart easily deliver my groceries. Coffee from my balcony watching the sun come up the tip of the iceburg.

The free hot breakfast was tasty and convenient and enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop bar with live entertainment was such a treat! We were able to walk to a number of places near the hotel, and when that wasn’t possible the valet parking was such a convenience. We would highly recommend staying here!

This hotel earned 4 out of 5 stars because of the service of the man in charge of the breakfast. Such a kind man. He asked us if we needed water, and went got us some. He cleared our plates. Asked us if we needed anything from else, and played great selections of old time music. It was clear that this man enjoys his job. We felt welcomed. And breakfast was decent. The hotel rooms themselves are average. Comfortable beds. Nothing fancy. It is a safe and comfortable place to sleep at night.

I really enjoyed my stay. Check-in & check-out was very easy. When I arrived, my key was waiting for me. Kenneth was very kind & helpful. My room was nice & the bed was really comfortable. I definitely didn't expect it to snow, but the room was cozy. They had a decent breakfast selection. The only downside to my stay was while I was resting, I could hear everything going on in the parking lot, a car revving up its engine, shovel breaking up ice (it was really icy near the entrance) & people laughing & talking. Next time I'll request a room that is not on the parking lot side.

We stayed for a total of eight nights and will book here again. The studio king room offered a good amount of space, with a nice desk area, convenient 180-degree rotating TV for ease of viewing from the bed or the sitting area, and a well laid out kitchen with dining counter and two stools, medium size refrigerator and a good assortment of dishes, glassware, pots/pans. The bathroom is also quite good-sized, with sufficient sink counter space for traveling toiletries, and a powerful shower. Towels were soft and absorbent. The bed was very comfortable - important for an extended stay such as we had. The hotel was full, but our room on the third floor was very quiet. We used the chat feature on the BonVoy app to connect with hotel staff during the staff (for housekeeping matters) and they were very responsive, answering within a few minutes of posting. Nearby there are several grocery stores (Kroger, Trader Joe’s) making it easy to get extra food items for the kitchen. Good assortment of restaurants close to the hotel, though we drove to most of our preferred dining spots elsewhere - so, the hotel works well if you have a car, but its distance from downtown could make for costly paid car service (unless you’re going to The Bluebird Cafe, only about a half-mile away!). Downsides: would not recommend this type of room if you need to use the optional sofa bed; once opened it consumes the entire studio space with little room to walk around it; also, as typical for a sofa bed, it is not very comfortable. Wish there had been a luggage rack in the room; there’s plenty of space to position one near the bed (there was a countertop to hold a suitcase in the passageway to the bathroom, useful if traveling with only one suitcase). Wish there had been a bit more info provided on checkin or in-room materials on some housekeeping aspects - such as what to do with filled garbage bags, how to exit parking garage after check-out (remember to keep a room key!).

Because I only stayed for one day, I live near the airport, in order to catch the plane. It is nothing special. The breakfast at the hotel was free, and the breakfast at the standard small hotel was quite good. It was too early to arrive, could not stay, ate a breakfast, and left the luggage to go out. The hotel is quite a lot of people living, and it feels more popular than the general airport hotel. Not far from the city center, how much money was forgotten by taxi. Overall it is quite good. The city is a city of country music, many related museums can be seen, there are theaters, and the lively city can not do it - all bars or music, the street has a special car on the parade, the car is lively Young people are singing and jumping, or percussion instruments.
