When you deactivate your account, you're hiding all of your information on Facebook. No one will be able to contact you on Facebook or view the things you've shared, including your Timeline, status updates, and photos. If you decide that you'd like to return to Facebook, you'll still be able to reactivate your account and recover your old information. To deactivate your account:
Deleting your Facebook accountDeactivating your account does not fully delete it. When you deactivate your account, Facebook saves all of your settings, photos, and information in case you decide to reactivate your account. Your information isn't goneāit's just hidden. However, it is possible to delete your account permanently with no option for recovery. You should only do this if you are absolutely sure you want to permanently delete your Facebook account. To delete your Facebook account, follow this link to the Delete My Account page. If you'd like to save photos and posts from your account, click Download Info. Creating a Facebook business page is a fairly quick process. Removing or deleting a business page is quick, too. There are two ways to "remove" a Facebook business page from public view. You can delete a page (remove it forever) or change the page's status to "unpublished." How to delete a Facebook business pageDeleting a page is permanent. You will receive no email notice from Facebook confirming your deletion. Your page will just disappear on its scheduled date. Be sure you're ready to remove it before you begin. 1. Switch to your Facebook page's profile and click this link to get to the Settings & Privacy screen. 2. Click the View button beside Deactivation and deletion. 3. Click Delete Page and then Continue and follow the prompt. Your page is now scheduled for deletion. It will be deleted after 14 days. You can cancel a deletion by going to your page and clicking Cancel deletion at the top of the page. The page will no longer be recoverable once 14 days have passed. How to unpublish a Facebook business pageUnpublishing a page removes it from public view. This might be useful when you want to update or make a change to your Facebook business page. It can be reactivated at any time. 1. Switch to your Facebook page's profile and click this link to get to the Settings & Privacy screen. 2. Click the View button beside Deactivation and deletion. You must be an admin of the page in order to do this. 1. Go to Business Settings and select the business account that you want to manage. 2.
