It was just in for MOT, and I asked the garage to have a look at it, and they said that the pump went and needed to be replaced. They did the job without telling me the price, and I just received a 350 bill for it. Is that a reasonable price? I have no idea, never had a washer pump go wrong. Im seeing pumps going for like 50-100 online, it just seems unreasonable to charge that much labour for such a simple job. What is the normal price for a washer pump replacement? |

However, having replaced the pump myself, I can tell you that most of the cost is in the labor, as many things have to come off the car in order to get to the pump, including the entire front fender. It took me about an hour to get everything off the car just to access the pump. __________________ ___________________ 2014 F32 428i M-Sport 2018 F15 M-Sport |

Removal, re-install and finish/fitment takes time when putting the fender back on correctly plus changing the pump on the tank. Oh the higher side but fair. 2x the cost on the pump and 2.5 - 3h labour. How many hours did they bill for? That's the real question. |

I guess Ill have to pay that 350 then. 🙏 |
