How do you reset the Honda Sensing feature?
Can you tell me how to reset the Honda Sensing feature in my car? I’ve been having problems with the adaptive cruise control lately and I’m hoping that will fix it!
Honda Sensing might seem a little complicated at first, but it’s a great way to stay safe when you’re driving. To reset the Honda Sensing feature while you’re driving, press and hold the MAIN button located on your steering wheel. This will disable any Sensing features that your car uses while you’re driving, including the adaptive cruise control, the lane watch feature, the blind spot information system, and any other features that are active in your car.
If you want to keep some features of Honda Sensing the same but reset others, you can. For example, you can reset the adaptive cruise control feature itself. Just press and hold the interval button, which is marked by a car with four bars behind it until you see Cruise Mode Selected appear on the instrument panel. Then, press and hold the interval button one more time to reset the system.
