How to sign up for hulu free trial

Award-winning original series, intriguing movies and shows, and a lineup of first class channels is what Hulu is all about. And you can get almost all of it without spending a penny for 30-days. The Hulu free trial will give you a sample of Hulu’s entire on-demand library while also giving you a taste for its user experience and features for the whole family.

Unfortunately, Hulu doesn’t include a free trial option for any of the live TV plans which have over 75+ channels, the full on demand library, and free subscriptions for Disney Plus and ESPN Plus.

After the free trial, on-demand packages now start at $7.99 per month after the price hike in early October. Luckily, live TV plans still start at $69.99 per month, but will likely face price hikes soon. Both options can be upgraded to a no-ad version for $6 more per month if you’re looking to watch your content uninterrupted. Keep reading to find out more about Hulu’s free trial and more.

How to get a Hulu free trial?

There’s not a lot of options for getting the Hulu free trial. The streaming service offers one 30-day trial for the base plan that usually costs $7.99 per month. If you’re looking for live TV, you’ll have to sign up for a live TV plan that’s starts at $69.99 per month. Luckily all of Hulu’s live TV packages come with 75+ channels, all on demand content, and Disney Plus and ESPN Plus so you’re covered on almost all bases.

There’s also the option to get the Disney Bundle by itself which includes Hulu, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus for $13.99 per month. This deal ends up saving customers about $8 per month and is a great option if you’re not in need of any live TV channels. But keep in mind, there’s no free trial for the Disney Bundle either.

To test the service, getting setup with your free trial is easy. Just head over to Hulu and begin by signing up like usual. You’ll be asked for a form of payment and might see a $1 charge appear during the free trial, but that’s just standard procedure for online billing. You’ll get that $1 reimbursed in a matter of days.

To sign up just simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Hulu website
  2. Choose the free trial option (Hulu Basic for 30 days)
  3. Enter your accurate billing information
  4. Login using your compatible device
  5. Enjoy your Hulu free trial!

  • Hulu: $7.99/month
  • Hulu (no ads): $14.99/month
  • Hulu with Live TV with Disney+ and ESPN+: $69.99/month

What is the Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus Bundle?

No, unfortunately, there isn’t a free trial for the Disney Plus bundle. But if you’re looking for more than just a Hulu subscription, then the Disney Bundle might be the best option for you. The Disney Plus bundle gives you access to the streaming library for Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus. Subscribers can watch everything from the latest Marvel movies to live UFC fights.

The price is extremely fair too. Separately the three services cost about $22 for one month, but you can save $8 by packaging the three together for $14 a month. There’s also the option to get the Hulu no ads plan and upgrade the bundle for $20 a month.

Can you watch any Hulu + Live TV channels?

Hulu is best known for its network and cable tv shows, but you won’t be able to access any live content with the free trial. If there’s a certain live show you are looking for, you can usually catch it on Hulu one day later with the on demand plans. While the newer streaming services like Paramount+ and Peacock have claimed a few of its shows and movies from Hulu’s collection, Hulu’s FX hub and all of its partner-streaming bundles keep this service highly desirable.

If you are looking to get directly to live TV, Hulu with Live TV has a slew of top live TV channels including FOX, NBC, CBS, and ABC. To watch, you’ll just need to sign up and use a compatible device like a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android, Playstation, or Xbox.

What add ons and extras does Hulu have?

Speaking of partners, Hulu has paired up with multiple top-notch service providers to bring its viewers the best tv and movie-watching experience possible. Add on any one of these services during your free trial, including ESPN+, SHOWTIME, HBO Max, Cinemax, and Starz. Or if you prefer, test out one of the cable TV bundles like Entertainment, Sports, and Español.

While your free trial allows you to experience those add-ons for free, they will come at an additional cost. Include HBO Max for $14.99, SHOWTIME for $10.99, Cinemax for $9.99, Starz for $8.99, and ESPN+ for $6.99 per month. The Entertainment add-on costs $7.99/month, Sports costs $9.99/month, and Español costs $4.99/month.
