I have the 2 original key fobs and they both were finally saying low battery. I changed battery on 1 with no problem while my GF changed battery on 2nd fob. She accidentally put the battery in backwards and now the buttons won't work on the fob with a new battery in the correct position.

I get the red light on the broken fob when pressing a button and I can start the car and unlock it normally when using the button on the door handle. Do you think it lost the programming?

I have found about 5 or 6 videos or instructions on how to program the fob but they usually involve using a key in the ignition cylinder which my model doesn't have. I just have the door key and push button start.. I can't find anything in the Factory owners manual. I do see I have a memory button in the lower dash fuse box but I can't seem to find the right combo to program the other fob.

I would appreciate any help.
