We're currently trying for number 2 but I think we started too late. I can't remember when my last period was but it seems a long time ago. We tried on Monday and I'm figuring my period is due within a week or 1.5 weeks... so I think any day now. Can or did you get pregnant a week before your period? My cycle is pretty consistent being 28-31 days long.

I am so excited for this second pregnancy, the wait to try again is killing me!

Its much less likely that a person gets pregnant from intercourse during menstruation but yes, it is indeed possible. However, its incredibly unlikely that she stopped bleeding the very next day due to being impregnated...its most likely a coincidence.

When someone has sex with a partner that can get pregnant/be impregnated by, its imperative to always, always, always use some form of birth control. The both of you need to get educated on sex, how each of your reproductive systems work, and your birth control options. Having to take Plan B several months in a row tells me that you're both being incredibly irresponsible. At the very least, you should be pulling out, but you should definitely be using another method whether thats a contraceptive for her, condoms, sterilization, etc.

I want to start of by saying that I am not someone trying to get pregnant at the moment so this isn't me trying to be hopeful.

It's just I've had my period since about 9 months pp and I'm currently 19 months pp.

My period this time around is odd. It's lighter, not as heavy as it usually is, there's barely any cramping like the previous one. I have nausea which isn't something I get on my period. I've been really tired lately and some smells increase the nausea.

This might be tmi, be warned: Now my husband and I don't use any form of protection, we just pull out. We have used in the past and we're just not a fan. In the end baby was born by choice and not accident so afterwards we decided to carry on this method. As it seems to be working for us.

I've heard in the news in the past people who were pregnant and not knowing etc etc ppl who still got their period but it was just wonky. Google didn't help.

Lastly some of you might say go to the doctor. I don't have that option atm.

With my first, I had my period for the entire first trimester. Normal time frame 3-5 days, normal heavy bleeding, and right on time! I only found out I was pregnant when I took a test planning to play a joke on my hubby... well joke was on me!

Still a happy healthy lil girl. My fertility nurse explained that some women will continue to get what appears to be a normal period throughout their entire pregnancy. Which if you ask me is so not cool! Lol but hopefully everything works out for you!!
