Jeep tj track bar relocation bracket

Perfect for lifted Jeep Wrangler TJ or LJ, install an adjustable rear track bar with relocation bracket for proper rear axle alignment. It's a superior quality replacement for an original fixed-length Panhard rod. The adjustable length design helps you to properly align your axle housing with the chassis and prevents undue stress on related components. Fine adjustment threads enable ultra-precise axle positioning. Extremely strong DOM tube construction utilizes OE bends for correct geometry and clearance. Spherical urethane bushing for unrestricted travel and high performance urethane for steering responsiveness. Supplied CV bracket raises and rotates mounting point on axle for correct alignment. Powder coated and Zinc-plated for protection from corrosion and debris.

  2. Rear Track Bar Relocation Bracket | Wrangler TJ and LJ

Do I need a track bar relocation bracket?

You don't "need" both. If you already have an adjustable track bar, that alone will help to recenter your axle. However, it will NOT correct your steering geometry. A track bar relocation bracket AND a drag link flip is what you will need for that.

Is the track bar in Jeep supposed to move?

The trackbar shouldn't move at all. There is a TRE only on the driver side. The other side is connected by a bolt and rubber bushing.

What is the purpose of a track bar on a Jeep Wrangler?

Track bars are designed to prevent unwanted lateral movement of your vehicle's axle assemblies. So, if you had no track bar on your Jeep, then you would feel the body float severely left or right over the axles when turning which, most likely, would lead to catastrophe due to the physics of energy and momentum.
