i have a 2017 wrangler unlimited sport with a 6 speed ..at 18 000 miles they had to drop the tranny ..now at 49 000 they will need to do it again and its pissing me off. Plastic parts in a tranny is stupid . And a reverse gear too pointy and too thin ..Seriously ? You know its an issue and still no recall?

Lots of fun

Bought my used 2 door at about a year old, with 17,000 miles. Had a couple issues initially: passenger seat got stuck, and airbag light was on. But once I had those fixed, the car has been completely reliable. And I found out that the 2 problems were related. So really it was only 1 problem. The stuck seat has impacted the air bag sensor or something. Loads of fun driving this thing through the snow. 1 foot, 2 feet. Fluffy, or packed by the snow plow. It didn’t matter. Shift it into 4wd and point it where you want it to go. It just went over all of it, and without any drama. Nice and slow. No need for momentum. It just went right through the snow . Can’t wait to take it off road with some friends. As for everyday driving, I love it. You just have to know what you’re getting into. It’s not designed to be a comfortable or sporty car. It’s loud, rather uncomfortable on the bumps, the 2 liter engine sounds like a dish washer, etc. But, those are also all the quirks I love about it. It’s not pretending to be something it’s not. I would’ve gotten the manual roll down windows if I had the choice. It’s just the opposite of my other car, a Macan turbo. It’s just a good old fashioned, honest vehicle. The engine and transmission combo make for a pretty quick team. I’d say 0-60 in about 6 seconds. That’s pretty xxxx quick for a 4000 pound truck designed to go off road. Rarely do I push it that fast of course. I like to drive nice and slow in this car. This is my car to go slow and smell all the roses. I love it. I’m averaging just under 20 mpg driving mostly in NYC. Not bad. Best mpg I’ve had from all my suvs. The hardtop only takes 10 minutes to take off. But it’s still a pain in the xxx. It’s definitely a 2 person job. And then there the issue of where to store this big thing. It’s not like NYC houses have big garages. We’ll see how often I take it off once the summer comes around.

TOOO EASY!!!!!!! I searched for a car high and wide for over a month. During that time, I saw multiple vehicles meeting my criteria at Carvana and other dealers. I contacted some of the dealers and got the usual song and dance. I've been through the process over 12 times (yes I love cars and have owned many makes and models) at regular dealers, so I was hesitant dealing with Carvana as it was a new concept to me. Here's the Carvana difference though. THE ENTIRE PROCESS IS TRANSPARENT AND YOU GET FAIR TO GREAT VALUE. I received the best value on my trade through Carvana from the start. Could I have gotten more elsewhere? Perhaps, but how many HOURS of back and forth playing seesaw or teeter totter with trade in vs vehicle price would have occurred? Other dealers offered between $1k and $2k lower on straight sell or trade in. With the Carvana process, you see exactly how much your vehicle costs, how much trade equity you have, how much your trade benefits you on tax savings (if applicable), and any taxes and fees (there are no fees other than licensing and shipping if necessary). You don't sit there wondering whether the dealer is holding back on your trade. You don't sit there waiting for the wizards, or should I say buzzards, behind the glass walls at standard dealerships "working the numbers" for 20 and 30 minutes at a time wearing you down before they pass you to the next guy that is going to wear you down and try to sell you something more. If you're buying a car at a standard dealership, you better be ready. If not, you will get taken for a bad ride that lasts between 36 and 72 months of your life. Can you get a good deal at a standard dealer? Sure you can, but how much research, time (mostly wasted), and effort is required? Overall, I was very impressed with how efficient the entire process was, and on top of it, I love my new (to me) car, a 2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus in near mint shape and very low miles. You may not get the best deal down to the penny, but you will not feel like you went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson like at other car dealers. This has been my best purchase experience on a vehicle by far. The skepticism is gone, I feel very good about my purchase, and I look forward to doing business with CARVANA in the future.
