I checked a couple companies, Deere runs a tight ship and doesn't like others selling parts for their equipment. Can you post the engine model and spec. numbers, Something surely can be found by engine application. Joined Jul 11, 2006 · 180 Posts
My NAPA filter catalog shows a JD AM125424 crossing to a NAPA Gold 1056, the equivalent to WIX 51056. The catalog does NOT show your letter "c" as part of the AM125424. This is probably for a Kohler engine???? It seems to cross to KOHLER 12 050 01 oil filter too. Be careful whenever cross referencing filters. Call Wix to

My uncle found out from somewhere that certain AC Delco filters will cross-reference to Deere stuff, like a Gator. That's good news for him, since he's the parts manager at a Chevy dealer. Joined Apr 11, 2008 · 2 Posts
Discussion Starter · #5 · Apr 12, 2008 Thanks everyone but after further research I discovered that a FRAM 8170 and a WIX 51056 were compatible. btw its a Briggs engine.
