Oliver tree cowboys dont cry lyrics

I'm not good at goodbyes
I miss the sunshine in your eyes
Who said Cowboys don't cry?
Come on baby, let's take one last ride

Oliver Tree - Cowboys Don't Cry (Mahnı Sözləri)

I'm not good at goodbyes
I miss the sunshine in your eyes
Who said Cowboys don't cry?
Come on baby, let's take one last ride

[Chorus]
We're riding around this carousel
If you catch my drift
We're riding around this wagon wheel
She took me for a spin
We're riding around this carousel
Getting dizzy 'til we're sick
Love is like a circle

There's no easy way to end

[Verse 1]
It's too much, I can't take anymore
Stuck feeling like we've been here before
But now the sun stopped shining here in the Wild West
My heart stopped beating, it has sunk into my chest

[Chorus]
We're riding around this carousel
If you catch my drift
We're riding around this wagon wheel
She took me for a spin
We're riding around this carousel

Getting dizzy 'til we're sick
Love is like a circle
There's no easy way to end

[Verse 2]
Just an outlaw who only had one friend
I wonder if I'll ever see her face again
Dark clouds hanging over, they follow where I've been
My Cowboy tears are still blowing in the wind

[Chorus]
We're riding around this carousel
If you catch my drift
We're riding around this wagon wheel

She took me for a spin
We're riding around this carousel
Getting dizzy 'til we're sick
Love is like a circle
There's no easy way to end

[Pre-Chorus]
I'm not good at goodbyes
I miss the sunshine in your eyes
Who said Cowboys don't cry?
Come on baby, let's take one last ride

[Chorus]
We're riding around this carousel

If you catch my drift
We're riding around this wagon wheel
She took me for a spin
We're riding around this carousel
Getting dizzy 'til we're sick
Love is like a circle
There's no easy way to end

Oliver Tree - Cowboys Don't Cry - Azərbaycanda tərcümə (Mahnı Sözləri)

Hoşçakallarda iyi değilim
Gözlerindeki güneş ışığını özlüyorum
Kovboyların ağlamadığını kim söyledi?
Hadi bebeğim, bir son yolculuğa çıkalım

[Koro]

Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Eğer sürüklememi yakalarsan
Bu vagon tekerleğinin etrafında dolaşıyoruz
Beni bir dönüş için götürdü
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Başım dönüyoruz 'hastalanıyoruz
Aşk bir daire gibidir
Sonuna kadar kolay bir yol yok

[Ayet 1]
Çok fazla, artık alamam
Daha önce burada bulunduğumuz gibi sıkışmış
Ama şimdi güneş burada vahşi batıda parlıyordu
Kalbim atmayı bıraktı, göğsüme battı

[Koro]
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Eğer sürüklememi yakalarsan
Bu vagon tekerleğinin etrafında dolaşıyoruz
Beni bir dönüş için götürdü
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Başım dönüyoruz 'hastalanıyoruz
Aşk bir daire gibidir
Sonuna kadar kolay bir yol yok

[Ayet 2]
Sadece bir arkadaşı olan bir yasa dışı
Acaba yüzünü tekrar görürsem

Karanlık bulutlar asılı, bulunduğum yerleri takip ediyorlar
Kovboy gözyaşlarım hala rüzgarda esiyor

[Koro]
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Eğer sürüklememi yakalarsan
Bu vagon tekerleğinin etrafında dolaşıyoruz
Beni bir dönüş için götürdü
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Başım dönüyoruz 'hastalanıyoruz
Aşk bir daire gibidir
Sonuna kadar kolay bir yol yok

[Ön koro]

Hoşçakallarda iyi değilim
Gözlerindeki güneş ışığını özlüyorum
Kovboyların ağlamadığını kim söyledi?
Hadi bebeğim, bir son yolculuğa çıkalım

[Koro]
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Eğer sürüklememi yakalarsan
Bu vagon tekerleğinin etrafında dolaşıyoruz
Beni bir dönüş için götürdü
Bu atlıkarıncaya biniyoruz
Başım dönüyoruz 'hastalanıyoruz
Aşk bir daire gibidir
Sonuna kadar kolay bir yol yok

Songfacts®:

  • During the height of the COVID pandemic, Oliver Tree spent six months at his grandparents' cattle ranch in Northern California. His second album, Cowboy Tears, was inspired by his time there, where he got in touch with his inner cowboy.

  • The record's opening track, "Cowboys Don't Cry," has a message that it's okay for tough guys to shed tears. Tree wrote the country-pop song just after ending a relationship when he was crying his heart out. "Everyone needs to cry," he told Apple Music. "But specifically, men are taught not to cry and to just toughen up. And the truth is, yeah, you got to be a tough cookie, but inside that cookie, you need a very soft inside cookie that's just been cooked in the oven. You need to have a very, very sensitive side that comes with that hard exterior."

  • The song recounts the heartbreaking end of a relationship when two people are fruitlessly trying to make it work.

    We're riding around this carousel
    Getting dizzy 'til we're sick
    Love is like a circle
There's no easy way to end

Tree compares the struggle to end a romance to riding on a carousel: It's initially fun but if you spend too long riding in circles, you end up feeling ill. He said it's about "the acceptance of that and learning how to try to be happy on your own."

  • Oliver Tree usually records rock, hip-hop, pop, or electronic music, but "Cowboys Don't Cry" is a different genre. "This was my first country song I ever made. I proved to myself and my haters that Oliver Tree is not to be pigeonholed," he said. "He doesn't make music to appease anyone, not even his own 'fake' fans who turned on him when he announced he would return from retirement to make the greatest country album ever made."

  • Oliver Tree co-wrote and co-produced the song with:

Nine Inch Nails and Angels & Airwaves drummer Ilan Rubin.

Producer Imad Royal (Panic At The Disco's "Hallelujah," Doja Cat's "Boss Bitch").

Why is Oliver Tree a cowboy?

My grandfather was a cowboy, his grandfather was a cowboy,” Tree tells Variety. “It's just something that's part of my lineage.” Even so, the resulting album was a shock to both the artist and his fanbase: “I never would have guessed that I'd make a country album, and I think my fans feel the same way.”
Born in Santa Cruz, California, Tree signed to Atlantic Records in 2017 after his song "When I'm Down" went viral and released his debut studio album Ugly Is Beautiful in 2020. He achieved further success with his song "Life Goes On" in 2021, which has since gone on to amass more than 400 million streams on Spotify.
