seven and 11/21 minus two in 10 over 33. Now these denominators are not the same, so we're going to have to find it's common denominator. However, for me, it's not very obvious. See which ones will be able to multiply to get the same number. So it's easiest for me to you multiply it by the other fractions. Denominator. So now, using our handy dandy calculators 33 times 11 is going to be 363 over 33 times 21 which is 693 minus, uh, 21 times 10 is gonna be to 10 in the scene denominator number just to bring down these well numbers. And now we subtract You ended. 63 minus 210 is going to be 153 over this same denominator. Seven minus two is five. Now, we can simplify this. I see that these both end and three son going to divide them by three 153. Divided by three is 51 693 divided by three is going to be 231. No, I'm going to you keep the writing. I know that 51 divided by three is going to be 17 and 231 divided by three is going to be 77. I figured that out. Using the calculator again. Now we can't simple by this down anymore, cause 17 is a prime number. So I'm just going to bring back this whole number. It's our final answer is five and 17 77th.
This calculator will try to simplify fractions, polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and hyperbolic expressions.
Enter an expression:
If the calculator did not compute something or you have identified an error, or you have a suggestion/feedback, please write it in the comments below.
Type in your sum to see how to solve it step by step. Examples: 2+3*4 or 3/4*3
Description
Just type in sums like these (see Order of Operations for more detail):
Examples:
- 1+2*3
- 7 + (6 * 5^2 + 3)
- cos(1.2^2)+3
- (5−3)(5+3)
- ( −6 + √(6²−4×5×1) ) / (2×5)
- sqrt(3^2+4^2)
You will see what the calculator thinks you entered (which may be a little different to what you typed), and then a step-by-step solution.
Note: there can be more than one way to find a solution.
The calculator is still under development and may get things wrong, so be careful!
Tree View
Press the "tree" button to see your sum as a tree. You would do the calculations from the top down ... sometimes you have a choice which calculation to do first.
