Can you bake cake in springform pan?

A springform pan can be used in place or a regular cake pan in any recipe. When the ring is closed, they bake cakes (or other baked goods) in exactly the same way as a standard one-piece pan.

How do you remove an upside down cake from a springform pan?

Before unmolding an upside-down cake, let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes in the pan. Run a knife around the outside edge of the pan, then invert the cake onto a cooling rack. Lift the pan off of the cake. If it sticks, just nudge it a bit with an offset spatula to help it on out.

How do you get pineapple upside down cake to not stick to the pan?

Pour ½ of melted butter into cast iron skillet or round cake pan. Swirl the pan until the bottom and sides are well-coated with butter to prevent the cake from sticking.

Can you use parchment paper for pineapple upside down cake?

Cut out a circle of parchment or wax paper and place it in the bottom of a 9 x 2-inch round cake pan. Lightly butter the sides of the pan. To make the topping: Heat a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and cook, stirring occasionally, until it's browned and has a nutty aroma, about 5 minutes.
