Love All My Samsung Productsbballmomof2boys 2/13/2022 Show love my frig. at first i did not want the middle drawer but than read reviews and changed by mind and glad i did. i store my fruits and veggies there as those are my go to snack. love love love the showcase door. comes in handy when it's time for the dogs to eat, open and right there to grab. it is extra but well worth it. one disappointment, it is not finger resistant and i was under the assumption it was. frig was damage upon arrival in the door. samsung is send a new door to replace it instead of replacing the whole thing. there were scratches on the other door when delivered as well, but with the protective cover, they were not there yay! Yes, I recommend this product Design Features Performance Value Great Product with Questionable IcemakerCdubski 9/22/2021 the refrigerator is a very good, very roomy one, but has a questionable ice maker which has been improved in this edition. when i received it, the tray inside the freezer door at teh top was missing a railing, which samsung has agreed to send me in 10-20 business days. the refrigerator has a door in door feature, useful for drinks, and a water pitcher built in that automatically fills with cold water. very handy. it also has ice and water from a built-in filter. features are very good. Yes, I recommend this product Design Features Performance Value This is our first "drawer" refrigerator. It is very attractive and "big", but I think it could have been architected a little bit better. I'd have preferred it be a few inches wider than deeper. I think the ice maker in the door rather than both in the door and in the fridge would have made for better shelf organization and efficiency. The left door with the cold seal closes a bit loud and rough, which also wouldn't be as big of an issue if the ice maker was just in the door and not half-door and half-fridge because there wouldn't be shelf storage banging each time the door closes. There aren't any "tall" shelves for taller drink containers like wine bottles or large milk or tea jugs. You can adjust one shelf so that it slides back to make a taller shelf, but only half-deep, so it really isn't very much "tall" shelf room. Or you can remove one shelf on the same side as the ice maker, but there again, because the ice maker is both in the door and in the fridge, you're only getting half as much "tall" shelf space there also due to the ice maker parts that are inside the fridge itself. I wanted an ice maker, but I didn't realize exactly how much fridge space that would take up and again, I think it's the design and not unavoidable, with a redesign since fridges have had ice makers for decades and they have been better designed to maximize space before. It would possibly be better to be able to rearrange and customize the shelf space as needed. I'm adjusting to this "drawer" storage idea, but so far I'm not sure its better and I'm wondering how much fridge and freezer space I've lost to the door/drawers division. It is technically a bigger fridge, but I don't know if it is actually roomier than my older, slightly smaller fridge because of the ice maker and shelf design and I'm not sure it would be bigger on its own, if I hadn't kept our old fridge for the garage. I've only had this appliance for a week. My purchase date was 12-1, but it wasn't delivered until 12-24 and it would have been 12-30, if I hadn't logged into my Best Buy account and noted I could move the delivery up, which Best Buy said they would inform me of if it was possible, but no one did - I might have been able to have the fridge much sooner if I'd logged in sooner and checked for earlier dates, but I took them at their word.
