Hundreds More Positions Available Offering Incentives, Comprehensive Benefits and Career-Growth Opportunities

Spectrum Invests $6 Million in Two Local Facilities

SAN ANTONIO – Spectrum today announced plans to add 400 new jobs in San Antonio by year-end 2022, continuing the company’s growing commitment in the city. The company is also opening a new customer service center, which it is staffing with an additional 350 available positions, and investing $6 million in the two centers serving Spectrum customers from across the company’s 41-state service area.

Approximately 400 new positions will be based at Spectrum’s existing facility at 1900 Blue Crest Lane. The expanded customer retention and telesales workforce will assist new and current customers in choosing the right Spectrum Internet®, TV, Mobile and Voice services to best fit their needs.

“A rich, diverse pool of employment talent in San Antonio made further expansion in Texas extremely compelling,” said Christian Ruiz, Executive Vice President of Sales at Charter Communications, Inc., which offers services under the Spectrum brand. “We look forward to our new San Antonio-based employees joining us in our continuing commitment to deliver the best products and services to Spectrum customers.”

These new roles offer a competitive starting hourly wage, along with commission and incentives. Retention representatives who reach their targets earn more than $55,000 annually on average, while Telesales representatives who reach their targets earn more than $65,000 annually. Top performers in both groups achieve $80,000 or more.

Another 350 available positions will be filled at Spectrum’s new offices at 11826 Tech Com Drive, which houses part of Spectrum’s Video Repair team, whose representatives use advanced diagnostic tools to assist Spectrum TV® customers.

“Spectrum offers San Antonio residents a place to build a technology career, not just come to work,” said Greg McMichael, Senior Vice President of Customer Service at Charter. “By providing a $20 minimum starting wage, along with comprehensive benefits and strong career-progression opportunities, we create teams that deliver outstanding service to millions of customers across the country.”
