The cold throw comes across as warm, herbal and even a little fruity. I couldn’t identify the sage at
first, but now I know it’s there, it’s very apparent. It’s a sage-forward candle, with secondary notes of herbal juniper and eucalyptus, with light mixed woods in the background. This is a perfect unisex, 2-3 season scent. It’s complex and very nicely balanced - not too cologne-y (agree to disagree, Kate!) and not too sweet. It's herbal, warm and cozy. I would buy several every year if I could. Throw score: 8/10 One year, I loved this candle, especially while it was burning. The next year, I couldn’t stand it. Too cologne-y for me. The sage is prominent, and combined with the eucalyptus, this scent creates a chilled air freshness. Inexplicably, I also get a whiff of black licorice (anise). It’s a beloved scent, even by me in the past. But, it doesn’t work for me anymore. I prefer
BBW Fresh Fall Morning as a more muted, cleaner smelling version of Sweater Weather. I don’t like the Fall 2021 1970s mountain sweater wrap. Don’t despair, this scent will take many forms all year, including a White Barn solid-color core jar. Horrible, they re-poured this candle and covered up one of the wicks, now only two wicks can be burned and the sides are coming away from glass and its in even all way around. These candles are so hard to find out of season and it’s one of my all time favorites!
