Anthony collaborates with national Geographic for their Critter Cam project, which outfits video cameras to be temporarily placed on Snapping Turtles, Chelydra serpentina, to record behaviors of the animals below the surface.

Anthony recalls going to a local pond to catch turtles with his aunt at the age of 5. Before the age of 10, Anthony had kept several turtle species. Seeing the large Alligator Snapping Turtle, Macrochelys temminckii, at the Bronx Zoo at age 9 opened his eyes to more than what could be found in the Northeast.

Anthony lives in CT with his wife Shannon and daughters, Cambria and Maddalena. He is a member of the Turtle Survival Alliance, Turtle & Tortoise Preservation Group, New York Turtle & Tortoise Society, and New England Herpetological Society. You can contact him at .
