Description
Everyone loves jamming out while driving around in their Wrangler JL so why not upgrade from those factory speakers for a more enjoyable drive! With this Overhead Sound Bar Speaker Kit, you can do just that with a set of Kicker Speakers giving you superior sound for a better audio experience while maintaining the factory look. The Kicker CS speakers feature a stamped-steel framework that supports the rigid polypropylene cone. The speaker cone itself features EVC (Extended Voice Coil) for superior sound quality. These kits are a Quadratec exclusive that is a simple plug & play fit & reuses the factory speaker grills.

Questions
Can the super tweeter and overhead 5.25 speaker kit work together?
Yes, you can leave the factory tweeter in if you want or you can upgrade to the super tweeters. If you decide to upgrade to the super tweeter, it will draw power from the tweeter in the Kicker speaker. The Kicker speaker used in that kit has a very smooth and accurate frequency response. If you hook up another tweeter it will change the tonal balance. It will make the system sound brighter but you may not like the results. Thanks for your inquiry.
Does this just go over my current factory speakers or does it have speakers installed?
The new speakers and hardware will install in place of your original speakers as long as your Jeep has the base sound system and not the Alpine premium sound with subwoofer. Thanks for your inquiry.
Is this upgrade kit compatible with the OEM Alpine upgraded sterio system in my 2021 JL Rubicon?
