Not coffee or tea except breakfast. Ice makers broken. Pool over chlorinated. Breakfast a joke, even at 7:30 in the morning. two towels per room. Hallways are like saunas. No drinking water in the workout room. Carpet blood stained and filthy. Some rooms missing coffee pot, safe, microwave. Sorry to say, we were told to take everything out of our cars because of safety issues. Not sure what is happening to the Country Inn branding. If this is any indication, it is not sustainable. "Not the best experience." Overall Score2.0/ 5 The room had no soap or hand towels. Desk person said there was no soap and they were out of hand towels. The TV credenza was in poor shape and carpet needed a good cleaning or replacement. We heard dogs barking two doors down from our room #110, so I double checked the website for this hotel and it said no pets. The additional fees were exorbitant, almost 30% of the room charge. "Never Again" Overall Score1.0/ 5 We stayed at this hotel this past weekend, Father's Day weekend. Never stayed here before. Went to check in, the lady let me know the indoor pool was down for a few weeks, I was only going to be there for two nights. This was the first bummer being my three year old son looks forward to indoor pools, which is why we look for hotels with indoor pools. ANYWAYS, we go down the hallway to the elevator. The elevator stinks and is so dirty and disgusting. The hotel floors were so nasty! We got to our room, THANK GOD THE BED WAS CLEAN! We put all of our bags down, I go to the bathroom. The first thing I seen was a dead small roach laying upside down in the floor by the toilet. I quickly flush it down. And I'm just furious. Whatever, we leave and drive to Jekyll to spend our time, being the pool was down. On the second day we see a cleaning lady and ask for towels, we were told by front desk to ask them for more towels, well she says ?I don't have any on my cart, I will bring you some back? ?.she never does. That night I go to the front desk to ask for towels, the man goes in the back and comes back out with two HAND TOWELS! What! And then later my sister folds the couch bed out and there are no sheets or blankets in the room. We go back to the front desk and ask for sheets for that and a blanket. We were told they don't have any clean blankets and he gave us two sheets that were wadded up, not folded. We get up stairs to put the sheets on the bed. There was a towel and rag wadded up inside of the sheet. The service was HORRIBLE. Will never go back to that hotel EVER. Do not recommend! Amber G.
