Walmart about $25 5 qt, and another 1 qt for $8, Mobil1 0W-40 ... per 229.5x spec ... good for initial startup circulation and viscosity stability at higher run temps (especially for the turbo). Used this at 5k first change so far so good, oil level stable as of 7k.

Rgds, Okay, that helps a little. But it seems that "mercedes genuine synthetic oil" is 5W40, while the AMG version is 0W40. My question is: What was supplied in the factory fill, even if it states 229.5? From the attached list, it appears it could be either 0W40 or 5W40, depending on what you use? Can anyone clarify this? I have the CLA250 and not the AMG CLA45. I will be doing an oil change at 5000 km at my local european car repair shop, just
