Value of Benefit: Public charging is complimentary for an unlimited number of 30-minute DC Fast charges and 60- minute Level 2 charges at participating locations for 24 months with the EZ-Charge® Full Access Card. Public charging networks are third-party owned not within Nissan's control.

New Nissan LEAF owners will need to purchase a standard 120V charging cable, which can be plugged into a standard AC outlet for a Level 1 charge. While it isn't fast, Level 1 charging lets you add some range to your Nissan LEAF wherever you have access to electricity through a regular wall outlet.

Most level 3 chargers are compatible with the Nissan LEAF.

You cannot use a Tesla charger on a Nissan Leaf because Tesla's charging connector can only work on a Tesla car, especially if it is a Tesla Supercharger. Tesla is the sole proprietor of its charger, and handles everything from the power delivery, to payment and control via the car's infotainment system.
