I always read the one stars and that’s the only reason I put one star on this. The product deserves 5 stars. It is light, easy to use and does exactly what you want, which is to let you view your trail cam photos from the SD card, in the field, on your smart phone. To answer a few of the objections/complaints I saw here…
1). Must be connected to the internet or the app wont run. WRONG. You do not need an internet connection to launch the app and read and SD card plugged into the device. It works fine. You do get an annoying little warning but that’s all.
2). Won’t read many SD cards. Not true. I tried it on three different SD cards from three different manufacturers, one of which was over 10 years old. All worked. I did have one SD card fail but when I checked it on other devices found it was bad. I’ve a a few SD cards just go bad in trail cameras over the years.
3) Card must be less than 32MB. Not true. I used two different 32MB cards with no problem. I did not try it with a 64 because its not recommended and my camera’s wont work with them either.
The only annoyance with this device is that if you switch cards you have to unplug the device from the phone. Simply switching a card will not make it recognize the new card.
Deleting images would be better if the software provided for mass deletion, entire card deletions. Picking off individual images is tedious.
This is a great innovation and good product.

Like the reader as is. Only complaint is having to reset the App and unplug it from the phone to put in a new card. But good value for the money and it works wells.

Just a pain to use. Takes 3 or 4 tries each time to read as card. Cheap made. Instructions incorrect. Won’t return because they would just send another so waste of time to go through all that

Photos don’t always upload to phone. I’ve deleted several shots that no image was visible.

Does what it’s suppose to do,download app, put sd card in reader , plug reader into phone , and see what’s on the card , easy peasy

Ought this for my dad for Christmas and he LOVES it. Used to have a hand held reader with a 5 inch screen that only lasted 2 years. Was over 150$! He used it a lot but still. Since this one just plugs right into his iPhone he can see the pictures in great quality and the app is VERY easy to install and use. One of the cheapest and best gifts I’ve bought for the typical guy who has everything!
