Exact same thing happened to me. Within an hour of the appeal, Facebook said they got it wrong, apologized, and restored the comment they had previously removed. But the 30-day ban stayed in place. And the strike will remain on my account.

I seem to get a new infraction at least every month and 90% of the time it's the AI gone wrong. But because I have so many previous infractions, now every time I get another one it's 30 more days. By the time my ban is up, I will literally have spent 60 of the last 90 days in FB Jail.
If you go a year with no infractions, it will finally remove the "warning" status from your account. I will never get there, because even if I went a year without posting at all, I would still get banned at some point, because facebook often reaches back through time, in one case banning me for something I had posted eight months prior.
Hello,
If you see a message that you have posted content going against Facebook's Community Standards, select the post or comment that was reported, then you will see an option allowing you to know more about the violation.
Follow the instructions on the screen to continue. Depending on the violation, you may, accept the decision, request another review if you think your content was reported by mistake or secure your account if it was compromised.
However, keep in mind that if you have been repeatedly reported for violating the Community Standards or if you have posted unacceptable content, Facebook may block your account permanently and no appeal will be entertained.
Note: CCM has no affiliation with Facebook and cannot remove any restrictions applied to your account.
