The Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 was featured as my pick for the best zero-turn mower in our list of the best lawn mowers you can buy, and it's still my number one choice.
How long will a Cub Cadet zero turn last?A Cub Cadet zero-turn mower can easily last 10-years with proper care. Cub Cadet produces quality products, but that doesn't mean they don't require maintenance.
What is the best Cub Cadet zeroOverall, the Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1 mower is awesome. It is super comfortable, easy to use, and provides a great cut. The engine is high quality and the transmission is best in class.
What is the difference between ZT1 and ZT2?The ZT1 uses primarily Kohler engines but there is one model with a Kawasaki engine. The ZT2 is the other series and these mowers are on the same chassis, but Cub Cadet upgraded the transmission to a EZT 2800 series. ZT2 mowers have larger front and rear tires for less turfing and better flotation.
