This is my oem 05 chevy colorado 4x4 4door left front door regulator. The one I purchased didn’t have this brass slotted piece for the return spring to hook to. So i had to use it without the spring. When i asked if the spring was not needed they replied I could just return it. I installed it without the spring and it works but it is slower than the factory one was.

Ordered and it came on time. 2 studs had protective rubber sleeve on them, 1 did not Not a big deal. 1 out of 3 stud had a nut on it. 1 hole for mounting bracket had a bolt the others did not. So basically all the old nuts and bolts fit fine it was just odd that it came with 1 of each like why? The metal does not feel as strong as the original, and this one doesnt have the added support spring. But seems to work fine and stay in the track. Goes down fast as oem raises slower but it's fair and tolerable for the half price difference. All in all works as it should. Oh and the switch worked fine it was not reversed on mine as other reviews stated. The biggest concern was the power hookup was not mounted on the motor like the original. I looped it under the door speaker wires and zip tied to a hole. Was afraid I would here rattle against the glass if window was down and driving. Figured the harness would just swing and hit glass or door and make noise or eventually wear out as they would have been just swinging freely.

used on a 04 Chevy Colorado 4 door 4x4 front drivers door. took about 30 minutes to remove the old part and replace with new. using simple hand tools. Philips screwdriver to remove door panel screws. and a 10mm socket with 1/4" ratchet and a 5" extension for the motor and slide bolts. i added extra molly grease to the slides probably not recommended but cant hurt to make it slide easier right? lol hardest part was cleaning up the mess i made with the grease

Perfect fit, only problem is the passenger side controls were backwards, the connecter only allows you to plug it in one way, easy fix just splicing the wires backwards

I am not giving this item 5 stars only because it does not have a spring like the original part and it is louder to operate but, it is working well.

Not a OEM but it fits like a OEM a good fit for my 2005 Chevrolet Colorado happy so far easy to install
