Buyer beware!! In 2 weeks of using the bottom right corner is already chipping the phone pops out from corner’s at random. This is not the case to spend $50 to protect $1000 investment!

Typically, I don’t use phone cases, but newer iPhones are definitely on the heavier side (for a cell phone), plus glass and stainless steel can get slippery. So I decided to pick up one of the Apple Silicon cases when the pink one went on sale on Amazon.
Initial impressions were good. It offered extra grip that my iPhone desperately needed with not too much extra bulk. It also helps the leather Apple wallet to stay in place. In the past year of owning the case I haven’t really dropped my phone, so can’t comment on whether it offers an adequate protection.
But in the span of the year the light pink color got noticeably duller.
Additionally, it appears to “attract” fabric dyes. Keeping my phone in the front pocket of my (not new, been trough a couple of washes) light blue jeans gave the pink case a blue-ish hue, that seems to be impossible to clean off.

Let me say that this phone case is incredible quality, as to be expected from Apple, but it is VERY pricey, therefore I'll have to give it a 4-star rating.

My fiancé and I were celebrating my birthday and going out to grab sushi for dinner. On the way out I asked him to grab my wallet and my phone off the counter since I had our seven month old in my hands and already headed to strap him into his car seat. He decided last minute the dog would be coming with us for the ride and let her into the garage where he strapped her into her leash buckle in the back seat. As we were on the way I went to order sushi and realized he had my phone after grabbing it off the counter so I asked him for it to which he responded he forgot to grab it. No worries, I thought, I’ll just order it from your phone which I did. We arrived at the restaurant, picked up our sushi and home we went only to arrive home to an officer in our driveway… holding my wallet… as we were leaving my fiancé drove over the new solar lights I had just put out and we thought that it had gotten stuck in the wheel well and made its way out thumping into the road.. but in all actuality that was my wallet sliding off the top of the vehicle onto the street where a Good Samaritan found it and turned it into the police. A birthday miracle I thought that it was returned with all my cards and CASH until I realized what was with my wallet on the counter that he “forgot to grab”… MY PHONE. Well after taking my son inside and frantically looking for it thinking I could have moved it somewhere other than with my wallet, I told my fiancé and he said he couldn’t have grabbed it, he’d remember… but he very much did. After thinking it through he decided to check Find My iPhone and saw the phone was almost right next to him staring him in the face.. he looked up and the phone was still on top of our vehicle. This case saved my phone from falling off onto the busy road and being ran over any number of times meeting the same fate as my wallet. My phone I had just purchased two days before this incident is still in perfect condition even after 20+ miles on top of our car and through several areas of traffic and construction, thank you case!!

Mag safe works well. Case is grippy. Only gripe is that the case comes unseated around the edges at times. I would expect this from 3rd party cases, but not Apple OEM

I mean FIFTY QUID?! In reality WHAT are we thinking……
Well we’re not are we?!
Obviously it fits fine but it’s annoying as hell. All the little bits in your bag or pocket gets stuck to it, the corners wear off quickly, it’s so smooth it’s slippy. Apple accessories are basic b***h items with the highest price tag and every time a new phone comes out it’s an automatic go to for a case. Thankfully I came to my senses whilst the refund was still in date (and the iPhone 13 but that’s another review!)

Do not recommend!

It’s a very cute case but the cute pink becomes a yellow/grey after a few days, I suspect it’s poorly made.

I received the Apple Silicone case and was initially fairly impressed with it. It had a brand new smell, which I liked. I put it on the phone, which was slightly tricky as the case might be silicone but it's quite rigid, so getting it on takes a few minutes, and patience. It was then that the stickiness became a problem. Every tiny little spec of dust, fluff or pocket link gets stuck to the case. Which is then quite hard to remove. It's incredibly unsightly also if you have a light coloured case and dark debris stuck to the case!

My second gripe (and this could be down to the phone design) is that the phone (and case) rocks from side to side when trying to use it on a flat surface, due to the 'camera bump'. I had hoped that the case might be shaped in such a way to even it out to use the phone on a flat surface, but sadly not.

Overall it's a good case. Strong. Good colours available. Nice to hold. But I expected slightly better for a £50 price point.

Well, I finally bought an apple cover for my iPhone 13 pro. I had wanted one for a while and prime day offered a decent enough discount to go for it.

I swapped it out for my existing cover, first impression was how slim and streamlined it is, certainly good quality and the mag safe is noticeably stronger when attaching it in the car, I like the colour aswell.

But……it is very very slippery to handle even the phone thinks it’s so slippery that the phone quite often slips out in the bottom corners needing me to press it back in again, that is in addition to holding the thing! Which is all to often a two hand affair.

Next up is the fact it is a dust magnet, I’ve had silicon cases before but you can literally see the dust travelling towards this one, I don’t like putting my phone in my pocket because it will come out covered is a dust that never previously existed. Apple could probably sell these as lint collectors!

All in all it seems good quality, but it’s got some unique issues probably created by the unique quality! I would bother, an £8 budget silicon case will do the same job, if you want mag safe (which I do) then still spend half the money on something else.

Considering this is an official Apple case and the cost associated with it, I was very disappointed. I haven’t had this case for a year yet and it’s already pretty much damaged on each corner. I’ve dropped my phone maybe once or twice in that time. I would expect much better quality. I’ve since bought a new case for almost half the price and it pretty much looks identical and also has the MagSafe on the back (Spigen Silicone Fit Mag Case). I personally wouldn’t recommend this Apple one again simply because of the cost you pay for the not great quality.
