Was very disappointed in the quality of the prints and felt bad all her photos taken inside /outside were washed out or too dark to tell what was in the image. She enjoyed the concept of it but would upset her when she waisted so many pictures due to how expensive the film is. Was planning to buy her more film or a different camera and luckily stumbled across the idea of just getting a mini printer to connect to our cell phone pictures instead. After looking at reviews and quality of photos I knew the Canon ivy mini printer was the way to go!. I have a professional canon camera and trust their quality. I knew the photos would be tiny but once I saw how tiny they were in person I was nervous the pictures wouldn’t be the best. My worries quickly faded as soon as the first picture printed. So happy I found and purchased this mini printer for our family road-trip! Will make adding memories to scrapbook easier as we travel through the states. The 2x3 size is small but you don’t lose image quality in these prints and looks like they will hold up over time like regular in store prints. Will update if the quality changes over time, etc. excited that other reported sink paper was interchangeable with the correct blue card. Purchased additional paper and hope the quality doesn’t change by using a different brand. Canon Ivy mini prints end up being more expensive than store prints by a few cents, and technically would be getting larger at 4x6 instead of a 2x3. However, being able to instantly print photos from your phone and start journaling/scrapbooking as you travel is priceless!! Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend to those that love taking pictures as much as I do!!! Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 16, 2022 So I printed like a total of 5 pics and then it tells me I’m out of paper when I’m not. No matter what I tried it wouldn’t work until I loaded a new pack of paper. I’ll see how this pack goes but it’s going to be too expensive if all I can get is 4 or 5 pics from each pack. I only print one or two pics at a time and I don’t like having to reload the blue paper every time. Otherwise The color and everything is really great! Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 18, 2022 I bought the Canon Ivy to print out photos for scrapbooking. Overall, the product works as described. It prints decent quality pictures that double as stickers. It’s great, handy, and convenient for printing pictures on-the-go! Downsides — the battery life sucks. For each picture you lose 5-10% of battery, if not more. Also, after printing several photos, sometimes the printer gets stuck and stops working. It will say that it’s out of paper when it’s not. I do not regret purchasing this item, but I would suggest other buyers set the expectations low. If you are looking to print large numbers of photos for something like scrapbooking, this is not the product for you. 4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job…..with some glitches I bought the Canon Ivy to print out photos for scrapbooking. Images in this review Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 12, 2022 This printer was a huge hit at school! I sent home first day pics with each student. The printer is incredibly easy to operate. Loading new paper is a breeze too! Great quality on the photos. Very happy!!! Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 17, 2022 I bought this a year ago and it works amazing still. The backing if peeled is a sticker. The quality is perfect. I recently bought a Polaroid and it is such terrible quality compared to the canon ivy mini printer. On the left is the Polaroid using the instax mini 11 at a tennis court with my dog in a shaded area it just whites out the photo. On the right is my dog at the same tennis court shaded area with my phone and printed on the canon ivy mini printer. I’m only keeping the printer it’s much better. 5.0 out of 5 stars I’ve had this for over a year now and it still works great! I bought this a year ago and it works amazing still. This is the third zero ink item I’ve owned and definitely the best. It’s very simple to use and the print quality is amazing. Love it!! Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 22, 2022 I had originally bought the HP Sprocket and went through 2 defective ones until I gave up and spent the extra money on this and I’m so glad I did! I’ve challenged myself to do a “Pic of the Day” journal entry and this is so easy to use. The colors on the prints come out good, the paper is inexpensive, and it connects with my phone very easily. I’ve used it every day for several months and it’s working great! Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 23, 2022 I was hoping for postcard size prints but these are much smaller than that. The print quality is good. Top reviews from other countries5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on February 5, 2020 Love this printer! 5.0 out of 5 stars Small but mighty Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on April 19, 2020 We have been taking more and more pictures these days with our new child so I wanted to buy a little picture printer so that not all of the pictures would stay on my phone and I could put some little pics up in my office. The printer arrived quickly and in perfect condition so no gripes at all there. In the box there is a USB charging cable, the printer and some printing paper. We also purchased an additional 50 printer pages. You can get there with a stick back or without depending on how you want to use it. The printer did come with some battery life in it but unfortunately not enough to pair with my phone so off to charge it I went. Luckily I have a lot of USB charging blocks but if you don’t you will have to charge it via a computer or buy one. The printer charged within a couple of hours and was ready to go. The app to use the printer was small and downloaded on to my phone quickly. Once installed it is fairly intuitive on how to get it to work. Print quality for such a small inkless printer was impressive, the only time that this wasn’t the case was when the battery started to run low. There was some playing around with the brightness of certain pictures so again I would recommend buying additional paper. Overall I really love this printer. It’s never going to replace an actual printer or going out and having prints made but for little gifts for inside cards or small framed pictures it’s amazing. Would definitely buy as a gift or to get another if mine were to wear out. 4.0 out of 5 stars Colossal print quality in a tiny package Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on March 25, 2020 While a little more expensive than others, the print quality and speed are superior. Submitting a photo the photo pops out in less than 45 seconds. Picture quality is nearly perfect colours are fairly accurate perhaps a little off but very close. I used this printer to print photos for my new passports and they were perfectly fine. I've tried using a larger more expensive printer but the results were nowhere near as good as this tiny Wonder. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great little printer Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on April 25, 2021 Absolutely love this little printer! I’ve now bought 5 refill packs of paper I’ve been having so much fun! Note however that the device is quite loud when printing and heats up quickly. When the device is hot, the colours of the prints aren’t as accurate as when the device is cold, this is very apparent in white/light coloured images or black&white as they come out more magenta/purple tinted. 4.0 out of 5 stars 1st Impression & Use, perfect for scrapbooking, love the sticker quality Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on March 20, 2022 The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a portable mini printer that would fit a scrapbooking activity. I didn’t want anything too expensive or extravagant, and something that would fit majority of my check boxes. It was a choice between cheaper… monochromatic under $75 (but will I be happy later or wish for something better) Versus… Over
$100, but no more than $200 with a more than halfway decent color. Then I thought about what am I using it for? I’ve read a ton of reviews and settled on the canon ivy. For what I’ll need it for, it will work. I don’t care about whether it’s true color or gradients or exposure. I’m using it to label my seed collection for future planting. If it looks like what it should, good enough for me! (Some sample photo’s of Amazon seeds posted as example since I did print thm out). It is still better than
if I bought a cheaper one that only prints black & white. I would have had regrets after. Pros: 4.0 out of 5 stars 1st Impression & Use, perfect for scrapbooking, love the sticker quality
