Richard Maggio, Grand Master announced the following candidates for Junior Grand Warden for 2023: R.W. Alfredo Jorge Rodrigues Canhoto (Middlesex Lodge, Framingham) R.W. Alfredo J. R. Canhoto, Candidate for Junior Grand WardenBrother Canhoto was raised in Middlesex Lodge on March 15, 2005. He served as Master of the Lodge in 2011. M.W. Richard J. Stewart, Grand Master, appointed him a Grand Steward in 2012, and in 2013 he was made a Grand Representative to Florida. At the December 2012 Grand Lodge Quarterly Communication, Brother Stewart awarded him the Joseph Warren Medal for Distinguished Service. Brother Canhoto served as District Deputy Grand Master of the 15th North Masonic District in 2017 and 2018. R.W. Christopher A. Tonini, Candidate for Junior Grand WardenR.W. Christopher Anthony Tonini (Wisdom Lodge, West Stockbridge) Brother Tonini was raised in Wisdom Lodge on May 11, 1995. He served as Master of the Lodge in 2001, and again in 2010, 2011 and 2016. M.W. Donald G. Hicks Jr, Grand Master, appointed him Grand Steward in 2004. He served as District Deputy Grand Master of the 31st Masonic District from 2017 through 2019. Bro. Tonini is in the first year of his three-year term as Memorial Ambassador for the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, VA. Junior Grand Warden is the third highest elected position in the jurisdiction. The election will be held at the next Quarterly Communication on December 14, 2022.
