Delivery change options for receivers, before a delivery attemptWhen you track a package before the first delivery attempt, UPS My Choice® members see options to change delivery for eligible shipments. Options include redirecting your package to another address, rescheduling the delivery date or collecting your package from a UPS customer centre or from a UPS Access Point™ location, where available. Show
Not all shipments are eligible for a delivery change. For example, if you purchase prescription medication, perishable items or high-value merchandise, the sender may decide to deliver only to your address or require your signature. UPS My Choice members can change the package delivery to any address, including UPS customer centres or UPS Access Point locations, for free. Please note that changing the delivery address of your package could delay your scheduled delivery date. In addition, transportation fees may apply to certain packages. If you know that you’ll be away from home for a few days, you can also use UPS My Choice to request we hold all deliveries until your return. You can choose to collect them from a nearby location or have us deliver them once you’re back in town. Request a Delivery Hold The complexity of the change and timing of the request will determine if there will be any delivery delay. Furthermore, if it is identified that the address given is incorrect and not
deliverable, you can correct it while tracking the package on ups.com. Track a Package Sign up for UPS My Choice If it’s more convenient, you can also have your package delivered to another address. All of these arrangements can be made from UPS My Choice delivery notifications or your Delivery Planner. Depending on the final location, transportation fees may apply. Manage Your Preferences Delivery change options for receivers, after a delivery attemptIf you missed a UPS delivery, you received a UPS InfoNotice™ letting you know that your driver wasn't able to deliver your package. Use that notice to tell the driver what you want to do with your package. After you update the UPS InfoNotice, place it back in the same location where the driver originally left it. This does not apply to 'Adult signature required' deliveries. An adult must sign for these packages at the time of delivery. You can use your UPS InfoNotice number online to request a hold on eligible packages. 1. Open Your DashboardIf you have an account, log in to UPS.com and open your My Choice dashboard. 2. Select Your ParcelClick on “Delivery Options.” If you don’t see “Delivery Options,” the shipper has restricted this option. 3. Follow the PromptsReroute your parcel to a different location or change the delivery date.
