Within a few weeks the mattress sagged worse that the old one we had for years. I don't know what was firm about it. But Sears has been gracious and let us exchange it for a firm one without the pillow top. SO, if you like a firm mattress, do not think that a pillow top will do it for you. Join or Sign In to vote Noenuff We prefer foam, pillow top bed. Not just foam, no top.| We bought a different mattress first. B-R foam mattress, plush, no pillow top It seemed soft but by the first week it was unbearable. Woke up sore and no sleep. It was difficult to even roll over. I'm a side sleeper. We like soft beds, not sleeping on a board or firm bed. We exchanged for this one. This bed is pretty soft. I believe in time, it will get even better. The quality is fantastic! The material is definitely upgraded from others. A lot cooler than the other mattress ( foam holds in heat, even if they say cool or gel foam). I'm not waking up sore and am sleeping now. Yes I prefer this bed but u have to know your preference of plush or firm, foam or not foam, pillow top or not, side sleeper or back. For us this is perfect. Our first S & F bed. We are very happy. Do not buy from sears| Would love to write a review, however Sears has not delivered it. Will never shop at sears again customer service does not exist at sears. The scheduled dlivery was yesterday sears calls yesterday morning to say it will not be delivered until this morning The man promised first delivery Ha! still waiting never again!!!! I can not even get anyone on the phone. Sears made the sale got thier money and who cares about the customer or when they get the product NOT SEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
