However, you can only ask the sender to resend the blocked messages then you shall receive them in your phone. 

Thie answer is very simple.

When you block a number on your mobile phone don’t expect to receive messages from the blocked contact. Even when you go ahead and unblock the person, the block text messages will never be delivered to your phone unless the sender resend the text messages then you will receive them.

Kindly note that you will never see blocked messages on iPhone simply because the blocked messages never get to your iPhone and whereas there’s no folder for blocked messages on iPhone.

On Android, when you unblock someone you will never receive old text messages or probably blocked text messages until you request the sender should kindly resend the text messages to your number.

Once the sender resend the text messages, you will receive them in your mobile phone as long as you didn’t block the sender’s number.

This is why it is good to be very much sure before hitting on the button to block someone on your mobile phone. As long as you are very sure you won’t before blocking a contact, you won’t be asking if you unblock a number will you receive old texts.

How to get unblocked on messages

The only to get unblocked messages is by asking the sender to resend the blocked messages back to your phone. 

For the fact that we don’t see blocked messages or there’s a folder for blocked messages, it is very impossible to get blocked messages without the sender resending the text messages once again to you. 

Remember, the is both applied to android phone and iPhone. Maybe as time goes on, we’ll see blocked messages on iPhone and android phones.

You can only see recent messages after you have unblocked an Instagram user on your Instagram account. Old or previous messages sent while the user was blocked by you will never get delivered to your account until you request the user to resend the messages.

No, blocked messages never get delivered when unblocked on discord because the messages will probably be a failed one. You can only receive new discord messages unless you ask the user to resend the blocked messages to your discord account.
