Step 1: Review your trade-in optionsChoose a new phone If you trade in your old phone, you can get a refund when you buy a new phone.
Tip: After you start your trade-in, you’ll get a confirmation email. Then, we’ll send you a kit with a pre-paid envelope so that you can send your old phone to us. Check the status of your trade-in You can find the status of your trade-in by selecting "Trade-in details" from your order history.

Trade-in refund status Make sure that you've received the Store email confirmation for the refund. If you didn't receive an email, reach out to support. For credit card refund: If you've received the confirmation email within the last 10-12 business days and a refund hasn't shown up in your account, reach out to support. Address change If your trade-in kit is going to the wrong address, you can request a new trade-in kit.

Should I remove the SIM card before trading in my phone?Following those instructions should allow you to clear nearly all the data in your phone's memory. Remove the SIM or SD card.
