I highly suspect that the refrigerant is low, altought I happened to poke the low pressure line valve and it blows air with some green liquid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also need a wiring diagram or a photo of the wiring at the condenser fan, mine don't look right. Last edited by heisenbergtapia; 09-07-2016 at 02:58 PM. 08-25-2016, 04:11 AM

When the fan should be on, backprobe the fan plug, one wire should be at 12 volts and one at ground. The fan does not depend on refrigerant pressure. It is simply wired to come on whenever the compressor is on. If you get cold air with the car moving (so it doesn't need the fan), the refrigerant is OK. 08-25-2016, 08:26 PMHonda-Tech Member Thread Starter

I actually drained the air out of the Low line which came up warm, almost hot, then I refilled the line to 40 PSI and nothing. Is this a sign for a bad compressor? the electrical problem so that the fan will come when the compressor is on. Then you can look into the refrigeration. I serve phở for my babies iTrader: (2)

Most debris will be before the evaporator, you can clean that out by dropping the blower motor out of the housing and reaching up and into the blower housing and the evaporator housing, with a mirror you can see the evaporator, blower side to see if it is clogged up. Why won't my car fans for the the condenser turn on?Several parameters like a lousy capacitor, defective contactor, burnt motor, or damaged fan, can cause the condenser fan not to turn on. If any of these reasons cause the condenser fan not to come on, especially in summer, some air conditioning system components may overheat and trip the circuit breaker.
What can cause cooling fans to not work?7 Reasons Why Your Radiator Fan is Not Working. Blown Fuse.. Faulty Coolant Temperature Sensor.. Insufficient Coolant.. Broken Radiator Fan.. Faulty Fan Relay.. Bad Fan Controller Module.. Broken Wiring or Bad connection.. Check Fuses.. What are the symptoms of a faulty cooling fan switch?Common signs include engine overheating, the Check Engine Light coming on, and a broken or shorter signal wire.
